2 A student carries out a Young's double slit experiment to investigate the relationship between the distance,
D, of a screen from the double slit and the fringe separation, X, using a source of red light.
The results of this experiment are shown in the graph of X against D in Diagram 2.

Diagram 4 shows a hand powered flashlight which has a magnet and two coils of insulated copper
wire.
The bulb will light up when the magnet is spinned by compressing the crank of the flashlight. The light
gets brighter when the crank compressed faster.
