Ensure that all next day packages and cargo containers are accurately distributed and loaded correctly on
the UPS planes.

 Used both the UPS Weight and Balance System along with the Dangerous Goods Loading
Restrictions Guide, to determine the correct placement of the next day air cargo containers on the UPS
planes leaving Hartsfield Jackson Airport.
 Forecast all packages in the UPS computer systems which allows up to the minute package tracking
information for all UPS customers.
 Accurately departed Package Cars and Transport Trailers for over 20 centers while maintaining a plan
a departure scan accuracy frequency of 1 per 90.%.

Merchandising Manager, Corporate Loss Prevention, 2005-2006
Support store operations and suppliers in proactively addressing all issues of shrink impacting our
stores by focusing on theft and fraud and operational accountability. Partnered with Merchandising to
support product merchandise protection in our stores.
 Assisted the field associates on shipping and receiving issues that drew attention to advance shipping
notice adjustments that resulted in a recovery of $1.6M.
· Completed lumber shrink project, resulting in a.67 basis point reduction in shrink.
· Identified a major store system deficiency, which lead to the formation of a special team to
investigate it further.
· Assisted in developing lumber striping and UPC labeling guidelines for all lumber plywood

Analyzed all Loss Prevention and Operational processes related to check collections, tool rental and
store use programs within the stores in order to identify shrink and fraud liability.
· Reduced check network authorization fees to $31 K per month, a 15% savings for the company.
· Negotiated new check authorization contract with eFunds saving the company over $1M
annually.
· Converted all internal check collection centers (ten centers), giving them the ability to electronically
represent return checks, saving the company $1M annually. Check collections increased from
57% to 65% as result of the system contributions.
· Negotiated new contract with eFunds to reduce the fees for return checks electronically
represented from $.95 to $.08.
· Assisted team member in developing store associate SOP for processing store use tools by store
associates.
