Course Description
This course introduces the manual programming, setup, and operation of CNC lathes and CNC
milling machines. Topics include programming formats, control functions, program editing,
part production and inspection. Upon completion, the student should be able to manufacture
simple parts using CNC Machines.

Evaluation
There will be a minimum of three tests. There will be classroom and lab
exercises to practice and to confirm concepts covered in class. Testing
dates will be announced at least one class day prior to being
administered.
