INTRODUCING
In the context of the problem food is halal and good, is
the obligation of parents to provide food that is halal

discovery of malnutrition disease that basically
Indonesia is a country that is fertile and prosperous.
While nutrition is one of the major determining factors
of human resources. In this script, the researcher used
descriptive as the research methodology, it used to get
description and explanation about the situation of
research object based on the fact. While for the data
collection method, the researcher used interview,
observation and literature. In developing system the
researcher used Prototyping (prototype). Prototype
application of employment information system
describe used UML (Unified Modelling Language)
Implementation and plan of program used VB.NET
and MS. Access. The conclusion of the prototype of
this application can make it easy community to obtain
information about the data malnutrition.

METHODOLOGY
1. Interviews (interviews), conducted through a
debriefing process with one or several speakers at
a place or location where the object of research is
done.
2. Analysis, analyzes the needs of the application that
will be built.
3. Literature method (library research), is used to get
information from some of the existing literature
and through the resources of the library related to
good governance documents, summarizes the data
as a reference and cite the author.

RESULT

OBJECTIVE
The objective is to design and apply the expert system
is able to identify the type of malnutrition in children
with attention to the rules (rule-rule) quickly and
accurately with the method and design of a system that
has been created.

SCOPE
1. The type of disease, which is specifically to
identify nutritional diseases in children.
2. This application is only focused on
identifying malnutrition in children.
3. How the rules in doing forward chaining
expert system for diagnosing malnutrition of
children.
Expert system to diagnose child malnutrition is based
CONCLUSION
This application was designed with the method of
development of a prototype model system with
application design and process flow systems using
UML diagrams. Implementation and program design
using the VB.NET programming language and MS.
