PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are all aware that one of the most problem of our community is
that there are many malnourish children living with us. But thats not all..
Most of us are not aware or informed by the word TABLE MANNERS.
We need to have a proper hygiene, proper grooming and proper way of
eating, not just only for us but for the better future.
So in this project, I was challenged because of the children. They need
to be disciplined while they are still young, for I believe in saying: Ang
kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan.
With the help of my fellow Girl Scouts and my Troop Leader, I will
conduct Supplementary Feeding Program in the chosen Barangay.
In connection with this, before the children will be having their meal, I
will educate them about dinning matters, hand washing activity, and to Pray
before eating.
I want them to be a good citizen and leader someday. Im looking for
the better change in the world and I want to be a part of it.
Theres a saying Ive learned from the Girl Scout training. If we have
UNITY then, TOGETHER WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD.
OBJECTIVES
-The Children should be able to understand the importance of table
manners.
-Feed the 24 malnourish children and seek the change in their weight
and in their table behavior.

table manners and will have a change in their unnecessary attitude towards
eating.

Vitamins and Minerals make peoples bodies work properly.
Vitamins are organic substances, minerals are inorganic elements that
come from the soil and water and are absorbed by plants or eaten by
animals. Your body needs larger amount of some minerals, such as
calcium, to grow and stay healthy. Other minerals like chromium,
copper, iodine, iron, selenium, and zinc are called traced minerals
because you only need very small amounts of them each day.
Application:
Vitamins and minerals boost the immune system, support
normal growthand development, and help cells and organs do

HEALTH
Supplementary Feeding
on Malnourish Children
Measuring of the
weight and height
ABSTRACT/SUMMARY REPORT
Observe, Help, and Develop. I conducted HEALTH-Supplementary
Feeding project because I want to achieve those things. It all started
from the beginning when we conducted Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme
Project Orientation last November 15, 2014 at Cotabato City Central
Pilot School-Social Hall.
I have chosen HEALTH as my project. Its not only for feeding the
children but also educating them how to be a good citizen in the future.
I want to have a change in the community towards the children.
I have taken Barangay Rosary Heights 4, Cotabato City as the location
of my project. My beneficiaries are the malnourished children living in
the Barangay.
I started the project by writing an endorsement letter for my Principal
and the Council executive letting them know that Im applying to Chief
Girl Scout Medal Scheme Project. I looked for my workplace and talked
to their Barangay Nutritionist Scholar which is actually Mrs. Emma
Matildo and explain the said project. We also talked to Hon. Anthony
Aba, Barangay RH4 Chairman and he agreed about the project.
The said project achieved its objectives. People in the community are
very happy every time Im going there. The children are very excited
with their lessons from me. Now, they have learned many things from
the project. They already knew how the proper hand washing was done.
They also knew now many things like praying before eating, what to eat
in order for them to be healthy and they are more behave now while
facing the table.
CONSULTANTS
NARRATIVE REPORT
Good grooming affects ones personality. Since cleanliness is next to
Godliness, like many people said, we should know how to be Hygienic.
I intended to study the health of the children since my heart is close
to the kids. I studied the basis in solving the health status of the
children and identified whether they are normal, underweight,
overweight, or obese.
In this project, I am tasked to feed malnourished children. Not just
feeding them but also educating them to be a good citizen in the
future. Some people are not educated towards table manners, personal
grooming and proper hygiene. So I think it will be a great help for the
children to develop their behavior with the help of my project.
According to my research, First impressions are lasting. Your image
influences what other people think of you. Your image shows people
what you think of yourself. Become the most positive, successful and
enthusiastic person you know.

REFLECTION
The Lord is good to all; and His tender mercies
are over all His works Psalms 145:9
God is good to all. He loves all of us and Hes
looking to us fairly. So whatever your state in
life Rich or poor, fair or black, tall or stout,
beautiful or not, as long as you have a good heart,
you are blessed beyond measure for He is always
faithful in loving you.
He never let us passes challenges without Him
and He never fails to love us eternally despite of
the things we made that makes Him grieve. He is
always there and never left us; that what makes
Him good all the time.
Just be faithful in Him, for He promised us that
He will never leave nor forsake us in times of
trials.
