Therewasonestudentwhoneededaccommodations,meaninghewouldneedyoutopossibly
rephrasethedirectionswhengivenduringtheunitlessons.Thisparticularstudentalsoneeded
assistanceduringthequizaftertheunitlesson.

PriorKnowledge:
Thestudentsdidnthavetoknowawholelotaboutdigitalcitizenshipandtheydidntknow
muchaboutdigitalcitizenshippriortothelesson.Iwasthrilledbecausethatmeantthatthey
weregoingtobereallyengagedinmylesson.

AcademicMotivation:
Thestudentshadverylittlemotivationasidefromwantingtomoveuptothenextgradelevel
withtheirpeers.Whenitcametolisteningtotheirteacherwhensheassignedthemworkto
complete,theyseemedveryuninterestedandunmotivated.Ididmybesttogetthemengaged
intothelessonpriortometeachingtheunit.Oncewebeganadiscussiononsocialmediaandits
effects,theybecamemorealertandinterestedintheconversationandlesson.

Characteristics:
Thoughtheclasssizeisverysmall,therearenotawiderangeofstudentswithalotlotofneeds
tobemet.Mostofthestudentsintheclassarejustbehindontheirworkisbecauseofbehavioral
issues.
