RESOLUTION TO SET IUSA POLLING LOCATIONS FOR THE SPRING 2010

IUSA ELECTION

1 WHEREAS, The IUSA Election Code requires the IUSA Congress to establish official
2 IUSA polling locations for IUSA elections; and
3
4 WHEREAS, The IUSA Election Code indicates that these polling locations should be in
5 highly trafficked areas on campus; and,
6
7 WHEREAS, The IUSA Rules, Membership, and Internal Affairs Committee considered
8 potential polling locations based on last year’s IUSA election;
9
10 THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED, That the IUSA Congress direct the IUSA
11 Election Commission to declare the following locations to be official IUSA polling
12 locations, and therefore, subject to the Polling Location restrictions established in Section
13 303 of the IUSA Election Code; and,

15 LET IT FURTHER BE RESOLVED, That the IUSA Election Commission shall
16 reserve the following locations with the Student Activities Office and other appropriate
17 offices for the dates of the IUSA election.
