carries over to table and sits down. Butters toast. Picks up
newspaper.

ABI
Im heading out now.

DAD

Waves goodbye.
Door closes as she leaves.

Opens up the newspaper to the first page. Discovers article on

recent disappearances. Frowns in concern. Observes article.

EXT. the woods. LATE MORNING

Characters enter woods, stopping.

GRACE places bag on ground.

GRACE
Here we are.
Pause before entering.
Looking up at woods.

ELLIE
Its too early
(YAWNS)

ABI
Come on guys, this is meant to be fun.
(slightly exasperated)

ABI pursues onwards into woods. ELLIE and GRACE are left standing,
GRACE pulls bag onto shoulder, begins to follow.
Characters walk through woods.
ELLIE gets out camera and begins to take some pictures.
GRACE rummages through bag.
(surprised expression)
GRACE
Crap! Guys, I forgot my phone.

ELLIE

(nonchalant)

Guys focus. Were almost there.
(Interrupts conversation)

ABI points towards a clearing within the woods.

ELLIE and GRACE halt conversation and observe surroundings.
GRACE and ELLIE search for interesting camera shots, whilst ABI puts
down bags and prepares work.
ELLIE preoccupied with camera.
GRACE hears phone vibrating, intrigued, follows the source and finds
a bloodied phone on ground. Picks up phone, shocked when sees blood,
drops to the ground.

GRACE

Shuffles back in fear, panicking from the blood, attempts to wipe it

away.
ELLIE hears GRACE, but ignores her, looks through pictures taken,
notices something odd.
ELLIE
Hey ABI? Look at this.
ABI walks over to ELLIE, who shows her one of the picture. Notices a
strange figure within the background.
ABI

ELLIE
Wowa phone, how thrilling for you!
(Sarcasm)
ABI
Where did you see it?
GRACE
No..no the ph-phone had blood on it, like blood on it, proper bloody
fingerprints
(Paranoid)
ELLIE

(Frustrated, rolls eyes)
GRACE
No, no listen to me please, there was-

ELLIE
Oh Stop GRACE theres no phone out there, youre just attention
seeking
GRACE
Fine I-Ill go down and get it then!
(Replaces fear with anger)

ABI

GRACE approaches phone, looks down sees reflection screen,
killer grabs GRACE from behind.
(Characters hear GRACE scream)
ELLIE and ABI run towards the source of the scream
ABI
Come on! Weve got to go!
ELLIE reluctant but obliges, leaving the camera behind.
ABI and ELLIE find GRACE lying on the ground, dead.
ELLIE
Shocked, drops camera

ABI falls to knees in shock
