Parishwide Proposition
Shall Section 8.10 of the Plan of Government of the Parish of East Baton
Rouge and City of Baton Rouge be amended, effective on and after February 15, 2016, for the purpose of providing that (1) revenues of the Parish of
East Baton Rouge (the Parish) shall be allocated annually to the four municipalities of the Parish, specifically the City of Baton Rouge, the City of
Baker, the City of Zachary and the City of Central, by including in the current expense budget for the Parish items of appropriation to these municipalities, and (2) that all allocations of Parish revenues made under the
authority Section 8.10 shall be appropriated and distributed to the four municipalities of the Parish in the

Shall the Southern Heights Neighborhood Crime Prevention and Improvement District (District), be authorized to levy and collect an annual
parcel fee on each improved and unimproved parcel within the District for
a period of ten years, beginning in 2016 and ending in 2025, in the amount
not to exceed One Hundred Dollars ($100) per year and to increase the fee
once after at least five years provided said fee does not exceed One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150) per year, as provided in La. R.S. 33:9097.21 with
the proceeds of the parcel fee (after deducting administrative costs) to be
used to aid in crime prevention and to add to the seYES
curity of District residents, and to serve the needs of
the residents of the District by funding beautification

City of Baker Proposition
Shall the City of Baker, State of Louisiana (the City), under the provisions
of Section 338.215 of Title 47 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, as
amended, (the Act), and other constitutional and statutory authority, be
authorized to levy and collect a tax of not exceeding five percent (5%) (the
Tax), in perpetuity, beginning January 1, 2016, upon the paid occupancy
of hotel (the term hotel having the meaning set forth in the Act) rooms
within the City (the Tax to be in addition to any other taxes thereon)
($20,000 reasonably expected at this time to be collected from the levy of
the Tax for an entire year), with the proceeds of the Tax
(after paying reasonable and necessary costs and exYES
penses of collecting and administering the Tax) to be
used to fund infrastructure improvements for the City
of Baker Parks and to fund other recreational opportunities within the City of Baker?
