KP of Pakistan to start production in 1975 and now we are the largest match manufacturing
industry in Pakistan. We lit the path for others to follow and we remain the leaders in the field
in
terms of quantity and quality.
Mohsin Match, as it is popularly known at home and abroad, together with its sister concern
Mohsin enterprises produce 25,000 gross daily, sold locally through a network of 300
distributors and through direct export to countries in the middle and far east and Africa.

to these markets commenced in 1996 and have reached worth us$ 3.2 million annually. The
management of both Mohsin match and Mohsin enterprises is in the hand of a board of
directors
with Mr. Mohsin Aziz as the chairman of both boards. M0hsin match private limited
Peshawar is a manufacturing concern related to Aziz group of
Companies. Purpose of my study is to show how M0hsin match private limited maintained
his book Of accounts.
And are they follow accounting principle and accounting methods
Mohsin match PVT limited maintained his book of account through computerised basis all
All the accounting record are keep in computer using a software which is called peach tree
As the time is limited I cannot cover every aspect of an organization and only visit to two
department of Mohsin match private limited which is

For export mohsin match manufacture his product in 2 sizes, Small and Regular wooden
sticks
carborised
and water proof. The product is packed in coated board outer boxes and duplex board inner

For local use we market 3 size, Regular, King + Large, with 45, 52 and 65 sticks,
respectively.

Mohsin match are exporting his product to different countries of the world including
Egypt, New Zeland, South Africa, Afganistan, , india , bangladish Dar-esSalam, Mombasa, Tema, Burkina Faso, Douala Camroon, Dakar, Cotonou, Lagos, Nacala,
Maputo, Lubumbasi, Kanaga, Mozambique, Dubai, Algers-Algeria, Iraq, Aqaba-Jordan,
BeirutLebanaon, and Central Asian Counties, for the last 10 Years
Mohsin match private limited have maintained a steady growth in our export, which is mainly
due
to the quality of our product that can favourably compete with the best in the market. And it
is
because of the superiority of our product that we have not only captured the important
markets all
over, but are maintaining our position of superiority

2.1 An over view of organization report

The major activities of Mohsin match private limited Aziz group of company is
manufacturing only match box for local use and for export.
Mohsin match private limited manufacturing concern rather then trading concern
Mohsin match private limited offer only product not any service and the product is only
Match boxes offer to the local market as well as to the international market.

2.2 Structure of an organization


The head of the organization is managing director at the top level.
Marketing department finance department HR department research and development
department production department and accounting department work under the top
management or according to the managing director.
Each of the above department contain one manager which is called department manager

which is responsible for his department function or operation.


Production department contain many sub department like cutting department drying
department packing department and finishing department.
Each of the sub department contained one supervisor which are the head of that sub
department and work under the instruction of his departmental manager.
The supervisor control the worker which work under supervisor.
And worker work according to the instruction of his supervisor.
In Mohsin match private limited there is top down information flow information came from
Top.

2.3 Purpose of the study.


The purpose of my study is to work in real life situation and learn about organization practice
by doing. in ththis context its objective.

Second purpose of study from my prospective is to apply my theoretical knowledge in

Scope of work
The study is confined to organization operations .An attempt along with all its limitations to
collect its financial data.
As the time is limited it is very difficult to collect and understand information about each and
every department of organization. I cannot cover every aspect of an organization and only
visit to two department of Mohsin match private limited which is

human resource department

As the time is limited my main focus of my work is on accounting department and most of
the time of internship I spend in accounting department and apply my theoretical knowledge
in that department in practice.
And also I visit to human resource department and I cannot learn anything in that
Department and i only study its HR policy.

Scope of report.

It is a compulsory requirement for the reward of master degree.

It also provide help to mohsin match PVT limited management imn improving their

performance by obtaining suggestion given at the end.

It will help present and prospective student of QACC in making assignment on any

organizations specifically m0hsin match limited.

3.1 What I learned in the M0hsin match private limited.

As the time is limited I only visited to two departments which are


1 accounts department.
2 human resource department

3.2 Learn in accounts department.


Most of the time of internship I spent in accounts department and learn more about that
how the M0hsin match private limited record summarise and classify business transaction.
How they maintained their books of accounts.
Generally M0hsin match private limited maintained his book of account through a computer
based system using a software called peach tree.
The accountant only pass journal entry the software automatically update all the related
ledger account.
At that end of the each working day the accountant print all the important documents and
reports as a backup copy for the disaster and manual record.
In the software each ledger account is called master file contained all the related

information related to that account.

3.3 Learn in HR department


I also visit to the HR department of M0hsin match private limited and learn more about his
HR policy by the help of reading organization HR policy and asked question from HR
Department manager about an organization policy related to the employee.
1 for the selection of worker only interview is conducted by the HR manager.
2 preference is given to skilled and experience worker in the selection process.
3 three days late coming is considered as one day absentetc

3.4 My job and responsibility in an organization.


Most of the time of internship I spent in accounts department and my duty was to
maintained book of accounts and recording of business transaction that appear in an
organization.
All the book of accounts are maintained in a computerized based system using a software.
As a accountant I was responsible for recording all the business transaction related to an
Organization.
I was responsible to record ,summarise and classify business transaction that occur in an
organization on each working day.
I pass only the journal entries in the computerize based system and the system
automatically update all ledger account.
I was also responsible for to print all the important document and report at the end of each
working day for manual record and handed over to accounts manager.

3.5 Maintaining manual cash book.


I was also responsible for maintaining a manual cash book which contained debt and credit
Sides.
All cash received transaction is record on debt side of cash book like cash received from cash

sale and debtor..etc .


All cash payment transaction is record on credit side of cash book like cash purchase and
payment to creditor.etc

3.6 Maintaining debtor ledger


My another job in organization was to maintained debtor ledger .
Debtor ledger is maintain from cash book account, credit sale account, bill receivable account
and discount allowed account to debtor and sale return or return inward.
Cash received from debtor, sale return, discount allowed to debtor transaction credited debtor
ledger and credit sale transaction debited debtor ledger.

Maintaining creditor ledger


My another job in organization was to maintained creditor ledger.creditor ledger is maintain
from cash book account, credit purchase account, bill payable account
and discount received account from creditor and purchase return or return outward.
. Maintaining of these books of accounts is my responsibility in m0hsin match private
limited.
In simple words I can say that all the recording, summarising and classifying of business
transaction in the book of account is my duty and responsibility in an organization

income of an organization.

Continues increase in sale tax, income tax, and exports tax is also a great
treat for this organization . these taxes increase cost of goods sold and

Recommendation is considered to be the most important part of an internship report
Without which no report is considered complete and meaningful. This part of the report is
based on the previous section i.e. review and analysis. Moreover for bringing suggestions
discussions have been conducted with the staff of organization who not only provide the
basis for recommendations but also pointed out some areas where the change for the
development is almost important.
Realizing the importance of this section efforts have been made to give feasible
recommendations which are categorized in the following heading.

HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT.


The importance HR cannot be defined any organization. In case of manufacturing
organization it is most valuable assets because there are need of worker for production
