Summary
I am passionate about advocating for music education in Americas schools. My intention is to start
teaching music in the fall of 2016 in an early childhood position. I also have a passion for working with
children with developmental disabilities, and I am planning on pursuing a Bachelors degree in music
therapy following my graduation from Hartwick College. My experience thus far has included an
internship at Pathfinder Village in Edmeston, NY, a mini-practicum shadowing a music therapist, student
teaching in two different placements, working as a cabin counselor at a special needs camp, and service
learning hours in multiple schools.
