L.A. dropped their seventh straight game to a Western Conference opponent at home to start the season. After closing the deficit to three points on a Brandon Bass
dunk assisted by DAngelo Russell with 4:34 left in the game, the Trail Blazers responded with 10 straight points to push the lead to 103-93. The Laker starters
scored 70 points, tying their highest output of the season, with Jordan Clarkson (19 points), Kobe Bryant (18), and Julius Randle and DAngelo Russell (13), all
hitting double-figures. Randle set a career mark with seven offensive rebounds en route to 13 total boards, good for his team-leading fourth double-double of the
season. Russell also had a career night, setting a high in rebounds (nine) in just his 13th game, and tied his best output with six assists. As he has been for much of
the early season, Lou Williams provided the bench unit with an offensive punch, leading the reserves in scoring for the eighth time this season with 14 points. For the
11th time in 13 games, Roy Hibbert led the team in blocked shots (four) and had multiple blocks in a contest for the 11 th time as well. Continuing an early season
trend, L.A. shot 23-27 (85.2%) from the foul line, upping the season average to 79.2% on the year. Portlands victory was led by their backcourt of Damian Lillard (30
points, 13 assists, and six rebounds) and CJ McCollum (19 points on 8-13 shooting with three three-pointers). Starting center Mason Plumlee also had a doubledouble with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Portland, who moved to 6-9 on the year.

The Lakers fell to Golden State in the first of a road stretch that will see the team play away from STAPLES in 10 of 11 contests. With the win, the Warriors set the NBA
record for most wins to begin a season with their 16th consecutive victory. L.A. trailed by as many as 41 points in its worst offensive performance of the year, scoring a
season-low 77 points, including just 11 in the first quarter, also a season-low. The Warriors used a 15-0 run late in the first quarter to push the lead to 23-7, en route to
the first of their two 30+ point quarters. The Lakers limited opposition second chance points (14) for the third straight game, having allowed just 34 combined points in
that span. Just three Lakers scored in double-figures (Larry Nance Jr., Julius Randle, and Lou Williams had 10 points apiece), with Nance Jr. and Williams efforts
coming off the bench. It was the second time Nance Jr. scored 10+ points in his career, doing so on 4-7 shooting. Tarik Black played 12 efficient minutes (all in the fourth
quarter), grabbing six rebounds to accompany six points. The purple-and-gold had just 16 assists compared with Golden States 32, and committed 15 turnovers against
just eight from the Warriors. Stephen Curry led all scorers with 24 points (four triples) and nine assists, and matched Draymond Greens +36 +/- ranking for the game.
Golden State shot 48.9% for the game and held L.A. to 15.0% (3-20) from beyond-the-arc.
LAKERS LATEST
NO SECOND CHANCES
Over the past three games, L.A. has allowed just 11.3 second chance points per game (34 total) on 14-29 shooting.
The Lakers held opponents to consecutive season-lows in second chance points 11/22 vs. POR (nine) and 11/20 vs. TOR (11).
LOADING
DAngelo Russell played a career-high 36 minutes 11/22 vs. POR and responded with a career-best nine rebounds and tied a career mark with six assists.
11/20 vs. TOR, the rookie posted a career-high 17 points (seven FGM, three 3FGM both career-highs).
Russell has now hit multiple three-pointers in seven games this season.
He is one of five rookies this season averaging double-figures in scoring.

DAngelo Russell, the Laker Girls and East West Bank continued their annual A Season of Giving by donating and distributing Thanksgiving turkeys and pies to 300 needy
families on November 21. All guests were invited by the Salvation Army Inglewood Citadel Corps. This Turkey Giveaway was a continuation of the Salvation Army
Inglewood Citadel Corps annual Miracle on Manchester food distribution, which was hurt by budget cutbacks this year.
