IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR GUIDANCE AND COMPLIANCE OF


CANDIDATES FOR DOWNLOADING AND FILLING UP OF DOCUMENTS /
FORMS
1.
Download all the forms /documents and fill in own handwriting with blue color Ball
pen. Printed / typed details will not be acceptable.
2. Please bring all the above mentioned documents duly completed in all respects at the
time of reporting at respective selection centers.
3. Fill up all the fields of forms carefully and correctly in own handwriting.
4. Please do not furnish any false information or any such information which cannot be
supported with authentic documentary evidence. In case of any such false information
detected at any stage of the Selection process, his/her candidature will be cancelled
and will be debarred permanently in future for all types of entries to join Armed
Forces.
5. Please bring the following documents IN ORIGINAL at the time of reporting to
various selection Centers along with photocopies duly attested by a Gazatted Officer:a. Matriculation or Equivalent pass Certificate for verification of date of birth. (No other
document is acceptable for age proof).
b. Intermediate / 10 + 2 Pass Certificate.
c. Marks Sheet of Matriculation or Equivalent.
d. Marks Sheet of Intermediate / 10+ 2 Examination.
e. Semester / Year wise independent marks sheets of Graduation / Post
Graduation (For Graduate / Post Graduate Entries Only).
f. Degree / Provisional Degree Certificate (For Graduate / Post Graduate Entries
Only).
g. NCC C Certificate for NCC (Special Entry) both Men and Women.
h. Certificate of Registration with the Bar Council of India / State (For JAG
Entries Only).
i. UPSC Admit Card ( For all UPSC Entries i.e. NDA, IMA/ CDSE, OTA both
Men & Women).
j. Valid Identity Proof with photograph (Any one of School / College ID Card,
Pan Card, Driving Lic, Voter ID Card, Passport etc.) In case of candidates of
NDA / 10+2 (TES) entries, a certificate with photograph issued by Principal as
proof of identity.
k. For Students studying in Final Year of their Academic Session. In case the

result of final year / semester exam is awaited, the candidate will be required to
submit a bonafide certificate obtained from the head of the institution on his
original letter head, stating the current status of the candidate, date of
completion of final year exam and declaration of result as per format given at
Appendix A.
For Pre-Final / Final year Students of UES Degree Course Only. If you are
studying in the pre-final / final year of degree course, you are required to bring
a bonafide certificate obtained from univ / college stating that you are studying
in final year of degree course and going to appear in the final examination
during(month & year) failing which you will not be interviewed by
SSB. Format given at Appendix B.
Candidates who have submitted their certificates and mark sheets in
college / univ for resuming higher studies. Please bring a bonafide cum
custodian certificate along with certified true copies of those documents from
the same authority. Format given at Appendix C.
Risk Certificate. Applicable to NDA / TES (10+2) and candidates are
required to bring risk certificate as per format given at Appendix D.
No claim certificate. Applicable to Graduate / Post Graduate
Entries. Candidates are required to submit No Claim Certificate as per format
given at Appendix E.
Movement Order.Applicable to Service Entry Candidates only. Service
candidates will be entertained at the Selection Centre for their SSB interview
only if they report on movement order issued by their respective units.
Candidates applied online will bring a printout of online application form
while reporting for SSB.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CANDIDATES


. Bring certified true copy duly signed by Competent Authority by every
achievement you have obtained in the field of NCC, Games, Sports and Extra
curricular activities.
a. Candidates must carry all original certificates alongwith them for checking and
verification at the time of SSB interview.
b. Candidates declared successful in the SSB interview are required to submit at
the earliest a photocopy duly attested by Class-II Gazetted Officer of all such
provisional degree / degree certificate, acquired after the SSB interview at the
following :(i) For Army Entries:Addl Director General of Recruiting,
IHQ MoD (Army)
West Block III
RK Puram, New Delhi -110066.
(ii) For Naval Entries:Directorate of Manpower Planning and Recruitment (DMPR)
Recruiting Coord Library (Navy), IHQ of MoD (Navy),
C-Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011.

c. Candidates are further advised that documents already verified at Selection


Centre need not be submitted again at IHQ of MoD (Army / Navy). In case of
loss of such documents, the onus will entirely rest upon the candidates.
d. Change of address, Change of address, if any after submission of application
will be intimated to Additional Directorate General of Recruiting (Rtg-6),
AGs Branch, IHQ of MoD Army Headquarters, West Block III, RK Puram,
New Delhi-900108, c/o 56 APO (For Army Entries) and Directorate of
Manpower Planning and Recruitment (DMPR), Recruiting Card Library
(Navy) IHQ of MOD (Navy), C Wing, Sena Bhawan, New Delhi-110011
(For Naval Entries) as per format given at Appendix F.
e. Policy on Permanent Body Tattoos. Permanent body Tattoos are only
permitted on inner face of forearm i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on
the reverse side of palm / back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent body tattoos
on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be
debarred from further selection. Tribes with tattoo marks on the face or body as
per their existing custom and traditions will be permitted on a case to case
basis.
