About Us
After over a decade of building cages for personal use,
CagesByDesign.com was established in 1998 as a bird,
reptile, and small animal cage manufacturer. Shortly
after incorporation, we began a mission to develop the
ultimate small animal, reptile and bird cage systems.
With a factory direct sales philosophy we not only have
the ability to keep prices low, but gain feedback directly
from our customers as to what they are looking for in
their enclosures.

We wanted to create cages that are affordable, mobile,

light enough for the average person to be able to fit in
their home or office, durable enough for commercial use,
and attractive enough to be a museum quality display.
We have worked tirelessly to design, modify and
redesign our cage systems. We've spent thousands of
hours on our designs to ensure they have the proper
strength, durability, and functionality.
Now, over fourteen years later, we are the USAs largest
build to order small animal, bird, and reptile cage
manufacturer. Because of the versatility of our cage
systems, we have manufactured thousands of cages for
hundreds of different species.
As a family owned and operated business, we put a lot
of personal dedication and pride into our enclosures and
accessories, and are proud to present them to everyone.
