Professional Experience
Challenged with maintaining budget and time requirements while smoothly expediting development processes including envi-
ronmental remediation, site engineering, architectural and structural design, state and local agency approvals, budgeting/
preconstruction, contractor selection and construction. Maintained excellent tenant relations from preconstruction through lease
start. Collaborated with other team members in all aspects of early real estate development and preconstruction, including pro
forma development and planning and zoning approvals.
Key Achievements:
• Expedited state approvals for a 48 Acre Planned Neighborhood Development, doubling the size of the existing town
• Negotiated sales price of state lands from over $300k to $3k
• Obtained 30 variances per lot including density, setbacks, lot size, etc. for a 59 unit “New Urbanist” development
• Lowered construction costs by more than 16% through value engineering and contractor selection
PROJECT ENGINEER: Tasked with managing structure and finish trades on a $150 million mixed-use project. Responsibilities
included material tracking, RFI writing, submittal approvals, change order execution, AIA requisitions, scheduling, owner meet-
ings, and personnel mentorship.
PRECONSTRUCTION ENGINEER: Developed large-scale, accurate construction budgets, aided in value engineering and con-
structibility review, estimated hard and negotiated bids, authored contractor scopes to establish the guaranteed maximum price
for a given project.

FIELD ENGINEER

Coordinated subcontractor work, established horizontal and vertical control lines and grading, produced and executed punch
lists, processed submittals and RFIs, completed as-builts of work in place and executed quality control efforts.
Key Achievements:
• Established building control lines used by all other trades and completed foundation layout for a $150 million parking
garage
• Planned and executed defect repair process for six 9 story conditioned stair towers
Updated building plans using AutoCad, surveyed future campus project sites, inspected campus buildings and utilities for future
addition requirements.
