Rules & Regulations

INGENIOUS

This is to inform all the students of Engineering,

Polytechnic and Computer Application that the date of
assessment of major assignment will be on 4, 5
December, 2015.
1. Improper and incomplete registration forms will be rejected.
2. No extra Material will be provided by Career Point University.
3. Participants have to bring their id cards.
4. Participants will have to operate and display their Research paper/
Innovative project highlighting its importance and the technical details in
front of the Judgment committee.
5. The decision of Judgement Committee shall be final and binding. No
protests against their judgement will be accepted or entertained.
6. The organizers shall bear no liability against any cost or damage of any
kind during the demonstration, operation and transportation.
7. Last date of submitting the registration form is 01 December, 2015
(Tuesday). If any of students do not registered on or before last date the
50% marks will be deducted.
8. The marks of Major assignment would be added in all subjects except
English/ Maths subject.
9. The students (II, III, IV year) can choose either Innovative project or
Research paper.
10. The students of First year can choose Innovative project/Research
paper/ Demonstration of any existing instrument, device and
gadget/house appliances for core engg subject such as EEL-101, AML-110,
CSL-101, and MEL-120. For Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English
subject assignments are to be given by your concerned faculties.
11. Students can collect the registration form and Research paper format
from Xerox room or from respective faculties listed below and submit the
registration form branch wise/ section wise to the respective faculties.

Innovative Project (For all B.Tech, Polytechnic & Computer

application)
In one project maximum 3 students are allowed from same
department or inter-disciplinary department.
Each students needs to explain their individual contribution to the
Judges.
The projects must be unique if found any duplicacy then first
registered topic would be accepted.
Research Paper (For all B.Tech, Polytechnic & Computer
application)
In one Research paper only one student needs to give the
presentation (PPT) and submit the paper to the Judges in the IEEE
format (handwritten would not be accepted).
The Research topic must be unique if found any duplicacy then first
registered topic would be accepted.

Demonstration Project Rules: (Only for first year students)

The students of First year can choose demonstration of any existing
instrument, device and gadget/house appliances.
Students are required to prepare a poster presentation on existing
instrument, device and gadget/house appliances and submit the
same at the time of viva voce.
The existing instrument, device and gadget/house appliances must
be unique if found any duplicacy then first registered topic would be
accepted.
