Career Appraisal - key dates

Career Appraisals have a monthly deadline of the 15th of each month, with results issued eight weeks
later. Should additional information be requested a further eight weeks will be required to process the
application.
You need to leave enough time from getting the result of your Career Appraisal to applying for your
Professional Review. This is to allow for any extra work you may have to do after getting the result.
To help you plan ahead, the tables below show submission deadlines and result dates, and also the earliest
review session you can apply to sit.

to become a TMICE, you could be eligible for a concessionary rate when you become a graduate member.

If youre a member, retired member or prospective member and are currently unable to afford the full fee,
you may be eligible for a reduction.

This reduction is available if your income is 13,900 or less per year. You must apply for this reduced rate
annually in case your circumstances change.

Engineering Council registration fees

You must pay your entrance fee within 3 months of receipt of your result letter, or your registration
will be void. You must not use your designated title until you have paid the entrance fee.
