Loch Broom Pottery www.lochbroompottery.co.uk

Lochbroom Pottery has a unique, ethnic flare unlike any other. Every
piece shows individual character created by traditional craft
techniques and skill, gained from years of experience, focusing on
functional pieces such as dinner sets, crock pots, teapots, mugs, and
so much more. (All pieces can be used in the oven, dishwasher,
freezer and microwave).
We also make gift items, locally being well known for our wall
plaques, ornamental pieces and gifts. Our range continues to evolve
with passing time as new glazes and styles are added to our
collection.
Each piece is individually hand signed by Emma Bisson.
Commissions welcome. Visit the Loch Broom Pottery website for more
information.

Ripples Crafts www.ripplescrafts.com

Ripples Crafts is an independent yarn dyeing business based in
the North West Highlands of Scotland. Helen Lockhart hand-
dyes all the yarn herself, gathering her inspiration from the
colours, landscapes and traditions surrounding her home in the
crofting community of Assynt. The yarns are dyed in small
batches and the colour combinations are many and varied, from
multiple shades to simpler variations in colour.
Helen loves her work, enjoying the creativity and thriving on the
sense of connection with her customers, many of whom return
time and time again to acquire hanks of yarn which are unique
and individually dyed.

I have lived in Wester Ross for 47 years and have worked on

the Beinn Eighe National Nature Reserve for the past 24
years… In my daily life I am fortunate to see the wildlife and
landscapes of Wester Ross in all the different seasons, and
am in a position to record this with my camera. I produce,
from my home, prints (A5, A4 and A3) plus letter cards
(A5), which can be framed to order in all these sizes. I aim
to change my picture bank regularly in order to give
customers a wide choice of pictures. Pictures of most local
mammals, birds and landscapes can be obtained upon
request.

Pictures and Poems www.picturesandpoems.co.uk

The Pictures and Poems range covers numbered

and signed prints, greetings cards, mini cards and
booklets, together with, each year, a calendar of
selected pictures each with their own poem.
“… these paintings are not intended necessarily as
photographic representations but hopefully they do bring
together the fundamental 'life' of my subjects. The
composing and then the execution of the painting will
suggest a theme for the verse that I invariably compose
whilst painting my picture.” Bryan Islip
