Dear ConAgra:
I noticed the Intern position posted on your job board and I am very
interested in this position. With my education background on food
science: processing emphasis and the ability to work well with the
equipment in this processing department, I believe that I am fit to work
well with ConAgra Food Company.
I do not have any experience in this field of work. Thus, this job will be
an excellent opportunity for me to enhance my experience and to get
to work on real-life scale equipment. Through my time studying in
school, I have tried using small-scale machines and do projects to
understand more about food and processing. However, I still need to
take the next big step towards the real world. I am eager to apply all of
my knowledge and build countless experience with your company.
I spent quite a lot of time doing projects with my fellow classmates and
with the help of my professor, I manage to understand a little bit
further on application, even though there is limitation on the
equipment and time-wise. I get to write reports and make analysis to
show my understanding on the project I am working on. I get to learn
more through research that I found. I am a very patient women, but
persistent to get the right answers. I believe this quality and mindset is
needed in working on the research and development department.
Since I am from Indonesia, I get to see different ways of people
processing variety of food, along with broader and more traditional
equipment being used. I believe that with more awareness of this
knowledge, it can be put to use in this company. I view ConAgra as a
company that I would love to help build up. I value experience more
than money and ConAgra is the perfect place for me to utilize my effort
and time to.
I have concluded my resume with this letter. I would be looking forward
to your reply and would love the opportunity for an interview. Feel free
to contact me with the contact information I have provided above.
Sincerely,
Puspita Sari Hamijoyo
