Do you have any questions or comments for the Hollywood Park Neighborhood Association?
Not everyone is on Nextdoor and Facebook. Nor does everyone check this website everyday. Events
need to be better publicized. Newsletter needs to be out at least 10 days BEFORE meetings and
events.
On paying membership, I had no formal notice of payment, or introduction into the rules, regs,
operations, goals, election process, etc. of the association.
The FB page has gotten much better!
The Association has done a great job this year!
You are all doing a great job. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for all you do.Get Keep it going!
Current newsletter 9/4/14 is much improved.. Design is quite professional. Nice work! :)
On this form, tell us up front the character maximum for each box.
Can there be a way to get the commercial properties rented more quickly? Can the nbhd assoc. state
the nbhd is tired of vacant and empty places?
HPNA gone downhill. HPNA board uses excuse tht thy dont have time 2 do NEthing cuz thy have othr
payin jobs, thn thy shouldnt volunteer 2B on board @ all.
Why don't you write a new mission statement to reflect what you actually DO? The board is now
pathetic. It used to be a respectable organization.
Long time residents are helpful. New ones aren't until they need help and learn better.
Frequent active community leaders (as city councilmen, firemen, police, educators, travelers,
musicians.
When are we getting rid of all the mistle toe. Vote no on Proposition L. Good job, good effort.
The last paper had things missing. When is the neighborhood flea market?
when there are meetings, it would be great to have nametags or introductions, to get to know more
folks!
I would love to attend meetings but I'm at work when they occur. Overall this is a fine neighborhood
to live in.
Being essentiallly homebound, participation is limited to using my computer. I enjoy the give-and-take
that oftern occurs.
Good job! Thanks for your time and effort.
"All" Newsletters/minutes/projects needed on web site. Make it easy to get to HPNA.
When it first started I tried to join one of the groups. I don't remember which one. But my wife and I
were just ignored.
Cont. from "Least" above - Cars pulling into the business strip at the light on Freeport/Irvin. Entrance
too close to the intersection.
good job
Is there any way you can provide more public forums so that we can participate in neighborhood
decisions regarding different development proposals that effect the neighborhood and other city
issues?
More neighborhood activities that differ from "eat food and watch a movie"
I need to get more involved!
I love that the light poles are decorated for the holidays. It's just sad to live on the only street without
lights or decorations.
Stay out of peoples personal business.
It would be convenient to have phone numbers for an alternate way of contacting folks in the
Association.
Keep up the good work!
Not enough spaces available in the fill-in questions above! Again, thanks for your efforts to improve
our neighborhood!
Kudos for hold the association meetings. They are a great way for keeping up on what is going on in
the area. Side note - the low character limit on the comment fields makes them a bit useless.
Thanks for the newsletter - it's great to read about neighborhood activities. For future surveys, please
change the survey so the open comments can be longer than 100 characters. Thanks.
I don't participate only because I rent
The intersection where 23rd St meets 24th St needs a "keep clear" for north bound traffic so that cars
on 23rd Street can cross over to the right turn lane onto Sutterville when the light is red.
keep up the good work!
You guys are doing great. Thanks
Thanks for what you do. But I didn't feel especially welcomed at the two meetings I attended but lots
of good info provided.
The "MOST" & "LEAST" boxes in this survey need more allowable characters!!
You guys do a great job putting things together and continually inviting even those of us who haven't
gone to events. We will eventually.
When is the next newsletter deadline?
I wish we could participate more but the neighborhood meetings always seem to conflict with work or
other activities... We hope to attend a meeting soon!
I to commit to delivering the newsletter on a regular basis. That is as far as I am willing to volunteer at
this time.
If HPNA board positions were divided into smaller duties, more people would/could volunteer. Most
of the jobs take a lot of time of which some feel they don't have.
