Bahrain's High Criminal
Court
has
sentenced
29 people to jail terms
ranging from five to 25
years for detonating an
explosive device intended
to kill policemen in 2014,
state news agency Bahrain

reported on Wednesday.

full legal rights and access
to their legal counsel in
accordance with the laws,"
the statement said.

as saying.
Al-Hammadi
stated
that
Bahrains
High
Criminal Court revoked
the citizenship of two
individuals and ordered
twenty seven defendants
to pay heavy fines for
damages.
The suspects were charged
for an incident that took
place Dec. 19, 2014,
when the individuals in
question detonated an
explosive device with
the intent of murdering
policemen. The explosion
caused injuries to security
personnel and damage to
patrol vehicles.

the Saudi-led coalition
announced

to be a "technical
glitch," the coalition
said according to the
Al Riyadh daily.

coalition
conducting airstrikes

Houthi
positions since March
at the request of

soldiers had been killed

border. No further details
