Bananas Foster II

Directions

1/4 cup butter

2/3 cup dark brown sugar

3 1/2 tablespoons rum

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

3 bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise and crosswise

1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

1 pint vanilla ice cream


In a large, deep skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in sugar, rum, vanilla and cinnamon. When
mixture begins to bubble, place bananas and walnuts in pan. Cook until bananas are hot, 1 to 2 minutes.
Serve at once over vanilla ice cream.

Banana Pudding

1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed


1 (16 ounce) package vanilla wafers

14 bananas, sliced

In a large mixing bowl, beat pudding mix and milk 2 minutes. Blend in condensed milk until
smooth. Stir in vanilla and fold in whipped topping. Layer wafers, bananas and pudding mixture in a glass
serving bowl. Chill until serving.

Slice banana into rounds.
In a pan, melt butter, then add light brown sugar and stir, then add the banana rounds and
cook for 2 minutes. Set aside.

Hot Chocolate Pudding(fudge)


Ingredients

115 gms plain flour (maida)


1 1/2 tsp baking powder, levelled
2 tbsp cocoa powder
160 gms powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter or margarine
3/4 cup chopped walnuts (akhrot)
1 tsp vanilla essence
160 gms brown sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder for sprinkling
salt to taste

Method

1.

Sieve the flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt in a bowl.

Add the sugar, milk and melted butter.

Add the walnuts and vanilla essence.

Grease a 225 mm .x 225 mm. (9" x 9") square tin and spread the mixture

Evenly in the tin.

Sprinkle the brown sugar and cocoa over the mixture.

Mixture and bake in a hot oven at 400f for 20 minutes. during baking,

The cake mixture rises on top and chocolate sauce settels at the bottom.

Cut into squares and spoon a little chocolate sauce on top.

Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream.

Instant coffee powder

4 tablespoons

Cashewnuts,chopped

4 tablespoons

Walnuts,chopped

4 tablespoons

Brownies chocolate

20. Method
Heat butter in a non stick pan, add dark chocolate and stir till it melts completely.
Take the pan off the heat, add condensed milk and mix well. Add 1 tsp instant coffee powder
and mix.Mix 1 tsp instant coffee powder in cup water and heat in microwave for 10
seconds. Add this to the chocolate and mix well. Heat the sauce slightly.
Place 1 scoop each of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate ice cream in serving bowl for each
portion. Sprinkle some of the chopped almonds, cashewnuts and walnuts over them.
Crumble some chocolate brownie over the nuts, drizzle hot fudge over, sprinkle remaining
nuts
and
serve
immediately.
