NTT DoCoMo holds 26 % stake in the jointly formed company. It has also emerged as the first mobile
operator in India to have re-introduced ‘per second’ pulse, after Loop Mobile (formerly BPL Mobile)
discontinued their 'pay per second' service which was introduced in 2004.From October 2009 TRAI
announced that TATA tele service is India's no.1 tele service brand.
