Biaxial Bending + Axial Force Checking According To BS 8110
Biaxial Bending + Axial Force Checking According To BS 8110
Problem Description
This example illustrates the British Standard 8110 checking criteria for a
concrete frame given bellow. We will use the program skills to check the frame
reinforcement for biaxial bending and axial force. The frame has two different
cross sections, one for the piers and other for the beams, and it is subjected to
the loads shown bellow.
