E-Commerce Project Manager, TescoCompare.com, Redhill, Surrey, UK 12.2008 – 05.2009

Project Management of the Operations workstreams of Usability, Copywriting, Creative Design, Content
Management, Testing, Management Information (MI), and Partner Management within the Initiation phase of
a complex migration e-commerce project for the online price comparison company, TescoCompare.com.
Undertook an extensive Competitor Analysis review which focused on competitor companies in the online
aggregator market (price comparison market), and also undertook a detailed Usability review of the existing
TescoCompare.com website to highlight usability issues. Coordinated the User Group testing of the current
website and competitors’ websites with a 3rd party agency. Compiled recommendations for usability
improvements to be implemented in order to drive up conversions and the overall success of the website
and company.

Norton Rose is an internationally renowned Legal firm which is headquartered in London. The role was
coverage for sick leave of a permanent member of staff.

Management of a programme of online projects for a global legal firm, which required the coordination of
information architects, creative teams, marketing, developers, an infrastructure team and testers to
implement and to deploy to the live site NortonRose.com and other associated sites. Responsibility for other
projects including a Content Management System (CMS) implementation. Trained team members in Agile
methodology and subsequently rolled out Agile across all online projects, which quickly improved team
productivity. Was a key stakeholder in the selection of an Indian Offshore team and was responsible for their
integration into the project team and management of their training program to develop their skills in
company-specific development work.

Online Programme Manager, msn.co.uk, London, contract role 08.2007 – 12.2007

Responsibility for a programme of MSN.co.uk online projects which involved Project Management of several
workstreams including Creative Design, Information Architecture, Product Development, Operations;
Gathered business requirements from business stakeholders and MSN partners; translated and submitted
requirements / specifications to development teams, ran brainstorming sessions to tease out exciting and
appealing ideas for online projects and client pitches; worked with MSN partners to integrate campaign
sites, microsites, banners, multimedia content, RSS feeds, and other tools onto the MSN portal platform;
facilitated constant communication and negotiation throughout projects; and was the central point for risks
and issues.

Senior Web Project Manager, uSwitch.com, London, contract role 04.2007 – 08.2007

uSwitch.com is a price comparison website based in the UK. Due to market influences, the company
downsized substantially in August 2007, at which time the contract came to an end.

Managed and coordinated the launch of online marketing projects within the primary revenue-generating
Gas & Electricity channel. Coordination of the teams of Usability, copywriting, creative design and technical
development to create and launch appealing, user-friendly online campaigns to drive up conversions on the
site. Additionally responsible for the implementation of a Content Management System (Rythmyx CMS by
Percussion) for the uSwitch.com website and for the content migration of the existing website. AGILE
methodology was used in this fast-paced environment.

Web Project Manager, First Choice Holidays, Crawley, Surrey 06.2006 - 12.2006
First Choice is a UK-based holiday package travel provider and a household name in the UK. Due to a
takeover bid for First Choice by TUI in late 2006, this project was cancelled.

Responsibility for two workstreams: Information Architecture and Visual Design in the redesign and re-
development of this extensive transactional E-Commerce travel booking website, www.firstchoice.co.uk.
Development of a detailed programme and project delivery plan. Overall ownership and management of the
graphic re-design and senior stakeholder signoff of the user centred designs and wireframes. Senior
stakeholder management to Board & Director level. Identification and documentation of cross-workstream
risks, issues and dependencies. Management of 3rd party suppliers (digital agency and a software house)
with a workstream budget of approx £1 million.

Senior Online Project Manager, Proximity London, Marylebone, London, UK 11.2005 – 06.2006

Senior Project Manager of digital projects in a Top 5 UK advertising agency. Overall responsibility for
delivery of full life cycle web solutions to large corporate clients such as Royal Mail (launch of
www.royalmailgroup.com), and online campaigns for Royal Mail, The Post Office, HP and BT. Responsibility
for client stakeholder relationship management, project documentation and planning, Information
architecture (site maps and wireframes), coordination of the creative team, copywriters, technical teams and
third party technical suppliers to ensure the delivery of excellent online products. Responsibility for project
plans, budgets, resource management. Budget management of approximately £150K - £500K per project.

European Online Project Manager - Yahoo! Personals, interim coverage of role 05.2005 – 11.2005

Programme Manager for Yahoo! Personals (UK, Germany and France) for Online marketing projects. Yahoo
Personals was the #2 UK and #3 German online dating site, generating a significant annual revenue for
Yahoo. Responsibilities included: Project management of UK, DE and FR online projects (U.S. head office
driven projects, country-specific projects, online marketing campaigns, microsites, banners etc.);
responsible for overall Release delivery plans including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and action
items; matrix management of project team members across the departments of engineering, marketing,
advertising; design, web development and country teams; communication to stakeholders regarding delivery
plans, issues and schedules, tracking and resolution of risks and issues; ownership of stability, upgrades
and training on Content Management Systems.

EMEA Online Programme Manager – Hewlett Packard, Munich, Contract role 04.2003 – 12.2004
Hewlett Packard (HP) provides technology solutions to consumers, businesses and institutions globally.

Programme responsibility for www.hp.com online projects in 36 countries in Europe, Middle East, and
Africa (EMEA) region. Programme management of the deployment of the new multilingual www.hp.com
website throughout the EMEA region (top five hierarchical layers). Planning, direction and coordination of
the activities of virtual team members (technical & creative teams, translators, 3 rd party vendors,
stakeholders) for a variety of deployments across EMEA. Gathered requirements from country, regional,
and business management teams and translated them into technical deliverables to meet market-specific
needs in the countries. Preparation and delivery of training workshops to teams in EMEA countries, to the
3rd party vendors and internal Web development teams. Was the regional manager of the Content
Management System (CMS) and accountable for the following: CMS availability, user training, product
upgrades deployments and a user help desk and an offshore technical team based in India. Typical project
budgets were in the range of £500K to £5 million.

Webmiles is a consumer loyalty / rewards program in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The role ended
when the company outsourced IT in August 2002 to Gutersloh, north Germany.

Project managed and consulted on the redesign, development and relaunch of re-branded Webmiles
websites. Supervised freelance developers and assigned projects within the team. Maintained the websites
in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Designed, developed and coded microsites, email marketing
campaigns, animated banners, Flash e-cards and online games.
