EXPERIENCE

1998-Present Aviation Structural/Hydraulic Mechanic U.S. Marine Corps


• Served as Airframes Work Center Division Chief.
• Maintained and repaired helicopter hydraulic/pneumatic systems and system
components.
• Trained and supervised 47 Marines at any given time in the performance of
maintenance and repair of the structural integrity and the hydraulic systems on
UH-1N and AH-1W aircraft.
• Fabricated metal and composite repairs on H-1 aircraft.
• Maintained repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft
maintenance
• Replaced or repaired worn, damaged, or defective components, using hand tools,
gauges, and testing equipment.

2004-Present Quality Assurance Representative U.S. Marine Corps


• Served as Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative for the Airframes
Division.
• Initiated Discrepancy reports used to facilitate depot level repairs on aircraft.
• Performed depot level repairs on aircraft when no depot level support was
available.
• Performed inspections to major structural components on H-1 aircraft to include
fuselage elements, control surfaces, rotor blades, landing gear, hydraulic
components, and flight controls to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problems.
• Performed complex maintenance tasks, and decision making involving Safe for
Flight status of H-1 aircraft.
• Inspected completed work to certify that the maintenance meets standards and
that the aircraft are ready for operation.
• Measured parts for wear, using precision instruments.
2008-Present Tool Room Work Center Supervisor U.S. Marine Corps
• Managed all tools used on aircraft within squadron.
• Ordered and maintained spare tools to replace broken and worn tools.
• Repaired tools as required.
