Area of interest in research;


In a new laboratory , constructed by Prof. M.H. Khedr, for nanoscience, nano-technology and advanced materials applications in
environment, medicine, industry etc, I am interested in;

Production of nano materials from different precursors (naturally and


chemically) by novel methods invented by the laboratory group.
Characterization of nano-materials by different tools of analysis.
Studying the magnetic and electrical properties of nano-sized materials.
Studying the catalytic activity of nano-material towards some
environmental processes such as CO2 decomposition and CO oxidation and
waste water treatment.
Studying the reduction and reoxidation kinetics and mechanisms of
different nano-catalysts.
Preparation of different morphologies in nano scale and testing the gas
sensing properties of such materials.

Teaching experience;
For the undergraduate students - faculty of science and faculty of
education I teach the following corses; Thermochemistry, States of
matter, Chemical kinetics, Catalysis and surface chemistry, Nuclear
chemistry, Phase equlibria and Phase rule.

Projects;
In the Nano-science and Nano-technology Unit, constructed at the
Faculty of Science, Beni-Suef University, I am a researcher working in a
great project for production of titanium nano tubes injected with nano
alloys for different applications. This project is funded by STDF Egypt.
