To poll, survey, quiz, or otherwise collect information using a form in
Google Drive:
1.

Go to Drive at drive.google.com.

2.

In the top left, click New, hover over More, and choose Google
Forms.

3.

Don't see New? You may be using an older version of Drive. Try
clicking Create in the top left, then Form.
A new form will automatically open.

1. Open Google Calendar.
2. Next to My calendars, click the drop down arrow >
Create new calendar.
3. Enter information about your new calendar.
4. Click Create calendar.

Google Calendar - Create New Event


1.

Open Google Calendar on a computer.

2.

Click an empty day or time on your calendar. Tip: If you're on a view with an hour grid like
Day view or Week view, you can click and drag to create a longer event.

3.

Enter the name of your event and a start time (optional). For example, type "8:30pm
Concert" to add an event called "Concert" that starts at 8:30pm.

4.

If you have multiple calendars, you can choose which calendar to add your event to by
clicking the Calendar drop-down menu.

5.

Click Create event if you're done, or click Edit event to edit the time, add more details,
edit notifications, or invite people to your event.

Google Calendar - Inviting Guests


1.

Click on the event (or create a new event) and select Edit event details (alternatively, you
can click on the event's name to open the event details page).

2.

In the Guests section on the right, enter the email address of each of your guests and
click Add. You'll see each guest appear under the "Guests" section below.

3.

Select the appropriate options for your guests under the "Guests can" section.

4.

Click Save.

5.

In the Send invitations? pop-up window that appears, click Send if you'd like to notify
your guests of the event; if you do not want to notify your guests, click Don't send.

Create New Class
1.

Sign in to Classroom at classroom.google.com.

2.

Click at the top of the page and click Create class.

3.

Enter the class name in the first text box.

4.

(Optional) Enter a short description in the second text box,


such as section, grade level, or class time.

5.

Click Create.

Sign in to Classroom at classroom.google.com.
Click the class you want to add students to.
At the top, click Students and Click Invite.
Check the box next to the students you want to invite or check the Select all box to invite all the

students listed.
To see other contact lists, click My contacts.
To see all the students in your school's domain, click Directory. You can also search for a student
by name in the search box.
Check the box next to any additional student you want to invite.
Click Invite Students.

Note: The class list is updated to show the names of invited students in grey. Invited students receive an email. To be added to the
class, the student must click a link in the email or sign in to Classroom and click Join on the class card.

Add students

Sign in to Classroom at classroom.google.com.

2.

Go to the class page. The class code is on the left of the stream.

3.

Send an email to students with the class code or write it on the board in your
classroom.

4.

Give the students these instructions:

On the Home page, click .
Enter the code that I gave you in the box and click Join.

To reset the code or disable it, click the code and select Reset or Disable.

Create new assignments

Sign in to Classroom at classroom.google.com.

Select a class.

At the top of the stream, click Assignment.

Enter the title of the assignment.

Enter a description of the assignment or any additional instructions if needed.

(Optional) Click the date to select a different date from the calendar. By default, the assignment is
due the next day.

Create new assignments

(Optional) If you want the assignment turned in before 12:00 a.m. on the due date, click Add time
to set a different time. You can click the time again to select a time from the drop-down list.

(Optional) To attach a file, a Google Drive item, a YouTube video, or a link, click the appropriate
icon.

Locate and select the relevant item and click Add.

(Optional) To attach a link, enter or paste the link and click Add. If you decide that you don't need
the attachment, click X next to the attachment to delete it from the assignment.

(Optional) If you attach a Drive item, choose how students can interact with the item. Click
Students can view file next to the attached item to set the appropriate option:

Select Students can view file if you want all students to read the same file, but not change it.
Select Students can edit file if you want all students to make changes in the same file.
Select Make a copy for each student if you want each student to have an individual copy of the file that they
can change as needed.

(Optional) To give the assignment to another class as well, click the class name next to the
attachment icons and select any additional classes.

Do one of the following:

If you want to post the assignment immediately, click Assign.


If you want to save the assignment for a later date, click the arrow next to Assign and select Save draft.
