UCC News and Events

Ministry fair TODAY! January 24

Join us after Masses TODAY in the UCC Atrium

and speak with our student leaders to learn about all
of the ministries here at the UCC! Find out how you
can learn more about your faith, meet new friends,
spend time in prayer, and volunteer with our community.

In what concrete ways are you living your faith

through service to others?

More than an interpretation, Jesus is Gods Word incarnate. Are

we moved to praise God when we hear Gods Word? Do we
recognize our encounter with Jesus Christ in the proclaimed
Word, or are we distantly reading along? As a member of Christs
body, how do people encounter God through me?

For our annual Paulist Appeal, Fr. John Hurley, CSP

is visiting the UCC and preaching at all of our Masses
TODAY. Lets pray for his safe travels and give him a
warm welcome to the UCC!

A Word from Our Ministry Team

Paulist appeal today

Fr. John Hurley is with us this weekend to preach

our annual Paulist Appeal! As many of you are
aware, in 1908 the Paulists were invited by
Bishop Gallagher to come and minister to the
Catholic students, faculty, and staff at the
University of Texas. Over the last 108 years we
have done just that, and we look forward to
continuing the ministry here long into the future. Your support of
our Paulist mission enables us to recruit and train our seminarians
to minister in places such as Austin. Your support enables us to
care for senior Paulists who have faithfully served here and in many
other places around the country. And your support helps us to
continue to reach out to Young Adults as well as to evangelize the
unchurched and reenergize the faith of countless others through
our Paulist Evangelization and Reconciliation Ministries.
