judge the teenagers, the politicians, or
Wall Street. How simple that would
be—to point out slivers in their eyes

parents, educators, and all of God’s
p e o pl e wh o a r e c o m m an d ed
to “walk honestly” (Romans 13:13)
—let us examine our own lives.
Do honor codes such as these
below surpass what we ourselves
uphold as “a good soldier of Jesus
Christ” (II Timothy 2:3)?
U.S. Military Academy at West
Point—“A cadet will not lie,
cheat, steal, or tolerate those
who do.”
U.S. Naval Academy—
“Midshipmen are persons of
integrity: They stand for that
which is right. They tell the
truth and ensure that the full
truth is known.”
As people observe our lives and how
we interact with one another, will
they understand that we live
honestly as the Bible commands?

Where Will I Spend Eternity?
Your relationship to Jesus Christ is central to the answer to that question.
Our Dilemma:
We are, by nature, sinners who stand guilty and condemned before
our Creator and Judge. In our thoughts and actions, we have
disobeyed His perfect standards. We are sinners (Romans 3:10,
23).
Our Inability:
We are helpless to save ourselves. Forgiveness is a gift to be
received, not a reward that can be earned. We need a Saviour
(Ephesians 2:8-9).
Our Saviour:
Because of His love for us, God provided salvation through His Son,
Jesus. He became a member of the human family, lived without
sin, and died on the cross to pay for our sins. Jesus is the Saviour
(Romans 5:8; John 3:16).
Our Response:
Salvation is an individual matter and requires a personal response
on the part of anyone that wants to be saved. All who acknowledge
their sin and place their trust in Christ are adopted as God’s
children (Romans 10:9, 13).
At the conclusion of our Sunday services, people are invited
to trust Christ as Saviour. Individuals will be dealt with by
Christians trained in the Bible. Your questions will be
addressed patiently and privately.
Our Pastor is willing to set-up an appointment with you to
answer your questions regarding this most important subject.
