INVESTIGATION

AND ARREST FOR GRAND LARCENY

On 01/18/2016, the Madison Police Department received a report
of the theft of approximately $7,000 worth of personal property
from within a residence in the City of Madison.

Further

investigation by detectives determined that some of the property

had been pawned at local pawn establishments by an individual who
was responsible for the contract cleaning of the residence.

As a

result, an arrest warrant was issued for Iris T. Todd, age 49, of
Collins, MS.
On 01/29/2016 at approximately 3:45pm, Todd surrendered
herself to investigators at the Madison Police Department.
was booked with one count of Grand Larceny over $1,000.

Todd

posted a $25,000 surety bond and was released from custody.

This investigation is on-going and additional charges and
arrests are possible.
