Healing of the Lame Man

(Acts 3:110)
After receiving the power of the Holy Spirit, Peter and
John went to the temple at the hour of prayer.
There was a man, who had been lame all his life,
asking for money at the gate of the temple. When the
lame man saw Peter and John about to go into the
temple, he also asked them for money.
Peter said to the lame man, Look at us. The man
looked up at them, expecting to be given money. But
Peter said, I have no silver or gold, but I will give you
what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,
rise up and walk!
Then Peter took the lame man by the hand, and lifted
him up. Immediately the mans feet and ankle bones
received strength! He jumped up and went with them into
the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
And all the people who saw what happened were filled
with wonder and amazement.
