GOOD BUYS FOR THE WEEK


Grapefruit: Deep
crimson color grapefruit
with the just right tart and
tangy flavor combination is
now coming from both
Texas and Florida.

Blueberries: Very nice


plump berries with high
sugar content arriving
daily from Chile at good
prices.

Mangos: Very nice fruit


is now coming from
South America and
prices have decreased to
more reasonable levels.

Clementines:
Absolutely beautiful
clementines are now
coming from Spain and
Morocco at bargain
prices!

Oranges: Our Naval


Oranges are coming
from California at great
prices and mouthwatering quality. We
have very good juicing
oranges still coming from
Florida.

blizzard last week. Prices
are down significantly.

prices and quality.

these lettuces, and
although prices are still up,
they are not nearly as
stratospheric as they have
been in recent weeks!

Avocados: As we are
smack dab in the middle
of the Mexican season
right now, you can
expect perfectly ripe fruit
at some of the best
prices of the year. As we
get closer to the Super
Bowl, we will see a
steady increase in prices
due to increased
demand.

Distinguished by their reddish-pink flesh, and sweet


but tangy flavor, the Cara Cara is a medium sized
orange that is believed to be the result of a cross
between the Washington Navel and Brazilian Bahia
Navel Oranges. This fruit is easy to peel, and when
zested, releases bright floral aromatics.
