states, from North Dakota
to New York. It enters

County into Ohio.
The North Country
Trail enters the northeast
corner of Manistee County
and exits 128 miles later in
the county’s south central
border with Mason County
near Free Soil. The North
Country Trail is marked
with blue rectangle-shaped
blazes, and connector trails
are marked with white rect-
angle blazes on trees.
There are a number of
trailhead parking areas for
the North Country Trail in
Manistee County. Further
