FADE IN:
INT. / EXT. JOHNS CAR

SCARLET SMITH, 15 is seen deeply engrossed in her mobile. She

is naturally pretty. No type of makeup has ever touched her
face. Eyebrows never plucked, hair never dyed and dressing
style simple but elegant.
JOHN
Scarlet can you keep your phone aside for some time?
JOHN, a man in his mid 40, is SCARLETS father. He is quite
handsome.
SCARLET
What dad? Im just messaging my friends.
JOHN
Like I dont know? Well, see honey, you have got a new school
now. You gotta make friends there now.
SCARLET switches off her mobile screen and stares out of the
cars window on her right side thinking something deeply.
The cars pulls by Ridgeview Charter High school.
SCARLET gets out of the car and walks up to the main gate.
The camera swings up and we see the name of the school.
SCARLET (V.O)
So here it is. Ridgeview Charter high school. Till yesterday
I studied in a school which only had girls. Yeah, no boys at
all. I know its kinda weird but that was the type my
hometown is.
SCARLET starts to walk.
B.G Music Empty Nesters (Chorus)
SCALRET sees some people sitting on the college stairs and
waves her hand to say hi but they look away like nothing
happened.
SCARLET continues walking and spots a group of five wearing a
same color outfit. SCARLET ignores them and keeps walking
till she sees a boy and a girl standing beside a tree. On
seeing SCARLET, the boy says something to the girl.
SCARLET (waving her hand)

Hey!!
FELIX
Hey there.
FELIX, 15 is clearly a muscle devoted guy which can be seen
in his athletic stature. He has black hair and looks like
most other boys.
EVELYN, 15 is an emo type girl. She has purple hair but looks
cute altogether.
SCARLET
Im Scarlet, nice to meet you two.
SCARLET offers a handshake which FELIX generously accept. But
the girl starts staring at Scarlets hand
FELIX
Shes Evelyn. She is not so social I hope you dont mind.
SCARLET
No not at all.
FELIX signals EVELYN to say something.
EVELYN
What do you want?
SCARLET (shocked)
Um nothing or maybe. Yes I want to be friends.
EVELYN
Friends? (laughs sarcastically)
SCARLET
Yeah, anything wrong in that?
FELIX
No but are you sure you want to make friends on your first
day here? I mean this place aint that friendly?
SCARLET
Whys that?
School bell rings.

FELIX
Time to go. So whats your first class Scarlet?
SCARLET takes out a computerized page from her bag, reads it.
SCARLET
Calculus. Its Calculus.
FELIX
Great ours calculus too. Come with us we will show you around
the school as well.
The three of them start walking. We see the usual type of
groups, nerds; athletes and the somewhere in between groups.
SCARLET sees the group with everyone wearing the same dress
and stares at them while FELIX tells about the library,
classes and gyms.
FELIX becomes aware of SCARLETS interest in that group.
FELIX
Well that is the La Camarilla. They in a sense rule the
school.
EVELYN
Yeah, we are debating whether to change the school name to La
Camarilla high school.
SCARLET
Whys that?
FELIX
Youll know.
SCARLET
Wont we be late for the class?
FELIX
The class only starts when La Camarilla will get in the class
and right now they are in front of us.
EVELYN
An advice, at all cost avoid them. If they say days night,
so be it.
SCARLET nods.

SCARLET (V.O)
For me they looked quite harmless. You know people that are
all about condescending attitude and nice apparel, are
usually sort of dumb.
EVELYN
Now shall we go to the class?
The three again start to walk.
CUT TO:
INT. Calculus Class.
We see SCARLET sitting in the third row beside EVELYN and
FELIX.
LA CAMARILLA walks into the class.
VIOLET (To a girl sitting on the front seat)
How dare you sit on our seat?
The girl looks up with childlike innocence.
VIOLET
You dont understand? Get lost now.
The girl leaves the seat in a hurry. But as she starts to go
she is stopped by ALICE.
ALICE
Youll let her go Violet? You can but I wont.
VIOLET
No I wont. Hey you! Here clean my shoes.
The girl in tears looks around the class. Half of the
students are laughing while the other are in awe.
VIOLET
Are you deaf? I said something.
The girl leans down but is caught by her hand by SCARLET.
VIOLET
Wait... what? Who the hell are you now?

SCARLET
A girl like her.
VIOLET
Oh, so you want to clean my shoes.
SCARLET
No but I will allow you to clean my shoes even though it will
be a disrespect to them.
The class roars in laughter.
VIOLET charges toward SCARLET but is caught from behind by
DECAN.
ALICE
Oh youll pay for this girl.
SCARLET
Yeah, well watch who will pay.
ALICE starts to walk away. VIOLETS shrugs of DECAN after he
is assured VIOLET has calm down.
VIOLET and SCARLET exchange some looks.
CAMARILLA walks out of the class.

And the whole LA

The whole class cheers SCARLET.

SCARLET
Go sit wherever you want now.
GIRL
Thank you so much, Im Kelly by the way.
SCARLET
Scarlet.
SCARLET goes back to her seat.
EVELYN
So you think you made yourself a hero out there? What part of
avoid la camarilla at all cost did you understand?
SCARLET looks at EVELYN

EVELYN
Dont look at me like that. What do you think they will leave
you like this? No they wont. And these people who are
cheering you now, these are fair weather friends. They will
be nowhere to be seen when they come for you.
SCARLET tries to speak but a clerks entry in class stops
her.
CLERK
Miss Scarlet Smith?
SCARLET (raises her hand)
Here!
CLERK
The Dean has called you in his office right now.
EVELYN sinks her head in her hand while FELIX also lets out a
sigh.
Quite unmoved SCARLET gets up and follows the clerk out of
the classroom.
SCARLET goes through the hallway and sees VIOLET talking to a
man. On seeing SCARLET, VIOLET points towards her.
SCARLET arrives at the DEANS office.
CLERK
The dean will be here any minute. Go sit inside.
SCARLET goes inside and takes a seat.
CUT TO:
INT. HALLWAY, after the first period
EVELYN and FELIX are walking with JACK.
JACK
She really said that to her face? Oh man! Now I know why my
father always said to take the calculus class.
FELIX
Yeah she did.

EVELYN
For the first and the final time. There is a possibility that
we wont even see her anymore after today.
FELIX
I hope not. She reminds me of someone. This first day, first
show concept.
EVELYN
I thought we made this clear; no one will ever talk about
that person.
FELIX
I was just saying.
EVELYN
Just dont.
The three of them go inside the gym.
CUT TO:
INT. DEANS OFFICE
SCARLET is still sitting there. Suddenly the dean appears.
SCARLET stands but the Dean signals her to keep seating.
DEAN
So Scarlet Smith, first day in the college, I havent even
introduced you to your classmates and you ended up in my
office. This is a rare achievement.
SCARLET
But I didnt do anything wrong.
DEAN
Who said you did?
DEAN takes a file and leans back into his chair.
DEAN (CONTD)
You know what this is? Its your file. What do we have here?
No scholarship, A+ in every subject you ever took till now
and you are here on transfer basis.

SCARLET
What now? Wait let me guess, Violets father is the biggest
funder of the school or he is the owner of the school, am I
right?
DEAN
No, Im her father.
SCARLET
So youre either gonna suspend me or you are going to expel
me?
DEAN
No I cant. I dont have any strong basis for that. But dont
be overjoyed it doesnt means I cant make one.
SCARLET
Sir but she was
DEAN
Enough miss Smith. I hope you will, from now on mind your own
business. And stay away from the La Camarilla otherwise...
SCARLET
Otherwise?
DEAN
You may leave now.
SCARLET is annoyed, she picks up her bag and leaves.
DEAN goes through the file once more.
DEAN
They are so alike.
CUT TO:
EXT. STAIRWAY, OUT OF THE SCHOOLS BUILDING (AFTER THE
SCHOOLS OVER)
SCARLET is sitting on the stairs with her head in her knees.
EVELYN and FELIX are coming out of the building. EVELYN stops
FELIX by her hand and points towards SCARLET.
EVELYN

You stay here, I will talk to her.

FELIX
As you say.
EVELYN sits beside SCARLET who lifts her head, sees EVELYN
who smiles but sinks her head again.
EVELYN
So, what happened?
SCARLET
Nothing expect from the fact that I ended up in the deans
office in the first period of the first day at my new school
and to be the icing on the cake, Im already in the bad
graces of the schools ruling clique.
EVELYN
Well it could have been worse.
SCARLET
How?
EVELYN
At least youre still in school.
SCARLET
Yes, on borrowed time.
There is a loud scream of a boy. EVELYN and SCARLET rush
towards the other side of the street with FELIX following.
LA CAMARILLA, drunk, is seen humiliating JACQUES.
JACQUES, 15, is a computer geek with round spectacles. His
appearance certifies his geek behavior.
SCARLET, takes a step forward but stops.
EVELYN
You wont do anything this time?
SCARLET
No. I shouldnt have done anything in the first place as
well.
FELIX

What? Wheres your fire Scarlet?

LA CAMARILLA spots SCARLET.
ALICE
Hey! Theres that new girl.
VIOLET
What a timing, lets teach her a lesson.
DECLAN
With pleasure.
LA CAMARILLA walks up to SCARLET. DECLAN snatches SCARLETS
Bag and throws it away.
ALICE
Oh I have an idea. Why not make her do the same thing she
stopped us from doing earlier today?
VIOLET
Good idea, Declan!
DECLAN supposedly goes to force SCARLET to clean VIOLETS
shoes but abruptly stops on seeing a boy across the street
holding a jacket over his shoulder.
On seeing DECLAN stop other members of LA CAMARILLA also look
at the boy.
VIOLET
Any other time, guys. Lets go.
LA CAMARILLA goes away. SCARLET turns and looks at the boy.
But he starts to walk away as well.
SCARLET (while FELIX hands over her bag)
Who was he?
FELIX
Oh, he is
EVELYN
Hes nobody.
SCARLET
So youre a telling me that a nobody did that to La
Camarilla? What are you both hiding?

FELIX
I know you will kill me after this but still I think we can
tell her everything.
EVELYN
After what La Camarilla was going to do with you, we cant
leave you alone so I will have to agree with you.
FELIX
Now were talking.
EVELYN
Felix, call Jack tell him to meet me at the warehouse.
Scarlet, here come with me and call your father and tell him
youre going to be a little late today.
SCARLET
Okay.
CUT TO:
INT. WAREHOUSE BEHIND THE SCHOOL.
The warehouse does not looks like a warehouse. Its a well
organized and cleaned room. It seemed to be someones
favorite hangout.
SCARLET
So you hangout here?
EVELYN
Used to like months ago.
SCARLET
But this place is so clean it looks like someone comes here
every day.
JACK
Because Evelyn cleans it everyday.
FELIX and JACK arrived while EVELYN and SCARLET were talking.
SCARLET
Then this must be a very very special place.

EVELYN
It is. Call it a souvenir.
SCARLET
Souvenir of what?
FELIX
Our good time and La Camarillas worst time.
JACK
We brought La Camarilla to their knees. I really miss that
guy.
SCARLET
Take it easy guys. Im still trying to connect the dots.
EVELYN
That guy you saw across the street, his name is Oscar. And
mark my word that guy does deserve an Oscar. I still remember
the day he walked in this school for the first time.
FLASHBACK TO:
SCHOOLS MAIN GATE, FEW MONTHS AGO
We see OSCAR coming from the main gate with a bag. He is
wearing a brown leather jacket and blue jeans.
Few seconds later we see La Camarilla bullying EVELYN for
being an emo.
OSCAR walks up to them.
OSCAR
Whats going on here?
DECLAN
Its none of your business. Get lost.
OSCAR
Would love too. But Im taking her with me.
OSCAR grabs EVELYN by arm and starts to walk away with her.
DECLAN looks around and sees people laughing at him.
Infuriated he decides to hit OSCAR from behind.

DELCAN goes toward OSCAR, but FELIX jumps in between right in

time to stop DECLAN. OSCAR turns behind and realizes what
happened.
OSCAR
Silly me. How can I forget about this cowardice act? At last
you should be a role model for cowards.
DECLAN
You think so? Ill teach you a lesson. Today after school in
the gym Ill beat the crap out of you.
OSCAR
Just dont cry after that.
DECLAN
Enough talk, I know you wont even show up.
OSCAR ignores and walks toward the school building with
EVELYN. FELIX joins as well.
OSCAR
Thanks for watching my back.
FELIX
With pleasure.
OSCAR
Im Oscar.
FELIX
Names Felix.
EVELYN
Well I shall tell you both my name too. My name is Evelyn.
OSCAR and FELIX both smile.
OSCAR
Ill call you Eve.
EVELYN
As you wish.
The three start to walk.
CUT TO:

INT. SCHOOLS GYM, AFTER SCHOOL.

OSCAR walks in the gym where a huge crowd has gathered, he
has popcorn in his hands.
DECLAN
Keep the popcorn aside.
OSCAR
Why? I didnt come here to fight.
DECLAN
I know you were afraid of me. Who will fight then?
OSCAR
You!
DECLAN
Against?
OSCAR
you!
DECLAN
You Punk.
DECLAN
to hit
to hit
hits a

charges towards OSCAR but swings wildly. DECLAN tries

OSCAR but misses every time as OSCAR dodges. He tries
OSCAR with his head but OSCAR dodges again and DECLAN
pillar, knocking him out.

OSCAR
That wasnt my mistake. So now everyone enjoy your life here.
They wont bug you anymore.
FELIX
Correction Oscar, they cant bug you anymore.
OSCAR goes away.
FLASHBACK ENDS
FADE IN:
INT. WAREHOUSE

EVELYN and SCARLET are now sitting on a couch. FELIX hands

them coffee.
SCARLET
He beat Declan without even breaking a sweat! Now its
understandable why he fears him so much.
EVELYN
Yeah he was like that. After that day La Camarilla was
completely gone. Nobody knew what happened to them.
FELIX
You can still ask anyone about Oscar. They treated him like a
hero.
SCARLET
What about the dean? He didnt do anything?
EVELYN
No.
SCARLET
Whys that?
FELIX
Because of Mr. Martinez. He is the physics teacher here.
EVELYN
Yup, Mr. Martinez is appointed by board of directors and
Oscar was his favorite student. Dean doesnt dare to mess
with him.
SCARLET
If everything was in your favor then what happened?
EVELYN
One day we all were in the cafeteria goofing around
FLASHBACK TO:
Int. CAFETERIA, FEW MONTHS AGO
EVELYN, FELIX and OSCAR are sitting and joking with each
other.
JACK rushes into the cafeteria.
JACK

Oscar! Oscar!
OSCAR
Take it easy Jack. Im here, what happened?
JACK
La Camarilla
OSCAR
La Camarilla what?
JACK
They are beating a girl.
OSCAR (gets up from his chair)
Where?
JACK
Gym. The gym.
OSCAR dashes out of the cafeteria.
CUT TO:
Int. GYM, FEW MINUTES LATER
LA CAMARILLA has circled around the girl. With one unknown
member sitting on the boxes piled up in the gym.
OSCAR bursts the door open.
UNKNOWN
Ah! Few seconds late otherwise you would have broken an
Olympic record, Oscar.
OSCAR
Oh! I see La Camarilla has another clown in their ranks now.
Anyway who the hell are you?
UNKNOWN
Johnny Vincent.
OSCAR
Great! So Johnny Vincent a.k.a the new clown let the girl go.
JOHNNY
Relax hero. We will after we get what we want.

OSCAR
What do you want?
JOHNNY
Wait a few minutes. Guys break few bones of this hero.
LA CAMARILLA circles around OSCAR who is unmoved and smiles
instead.
OSCAR
Numbers game. I thought, I taught you a lesson that day
Declan.
DECLAN
Forget the old times, Oscar. Get ready for the beating of
your life.
OSCAR
Still in your dreams.
DECLAN charges towards OSCAR but he counters and sends him
crashing into JOHNNY. ALICE and VIOLET try to hit OSCAR but
EVELYN hits them from behind. FELIX arrives too. The three of
them start fighting with La Camarilla.
Mr. MARTINEZ comes into the gym and separates the two groups.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Can I know what was going on here?
OSCAR
La camarilla was beating that girl there.
EVELYN rushes to the girl to check is she okay.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Before I lose my temper, La Camarilla get out of here.
Evelyn, take the girl with you and get her some medicine.
Oscar, Felix you both come with me.
LA CAMARILLA leaves while EVELYN takes the girl to the meds.
CUT TO:
Ext. SCHOOLS PARK

Mr. MARTINEZ, FELIX and OSCAR are talking.

Mr. MARTINEZ
You shouldnt have done that.
OSCAR
What do you mean, sir? You are saying that I should have let
that bunch of idiots beat a girl.
Mr. MARTINEZ
You could have called me.
OSCAR
If I could have, I would have called you sir. But you never
know with these type of people, they are insane. They are
like animals from hell.
FELIX
Whats done is done. The question is what should we do now?
Mr. MARTINEZ
Go home for now. And yeah take Evelyn and Jack. Oscar, drop
each of them safely to their house.
OSCAR
Lets go.
OSCAR and FELIX leave to go EVELYN. FELIX calls JACK and asks
him to meet at the schools clinic.
CUT TO:
Int. SCHOOL BUILDING, OUTSIDE THE CLINIC.
OSCAR knocks but nobody answers. He shouts EVELYN but nobody
replies.
OSCAR (while opening the door)
Is anybody her.. Shit!
We see EVELYN lying unconscious on the floor.
OSCAR picks her up and puts her on the treatment table. FELIX
rushes to bring some water.
JACK
What happened to her?

FELIX (sprinkling water at EVELYNS face)

Dont know.
OSCAR
Come on wake up Eve.
EVELYN opens her eyes slowly.
OSCAR
who did this? Tell me their name.
EVELYN
La Camarilla.
OSCAR
Enough, they crossed the limits now.
OSCAR tries to leave but he is stopped when EVELYN holds his
hand.
EVELYN
You wont do anything, Oscar.
OSCAR listens but shakes of EVELYN hand and heads towards the
door. But stops at the gate.
OSCAR
Felix, look after her.
OSCAR goes out of the room.
EVELYN
Stop him. Please somebody stop him.
JACK
He cant be stopped now.
FELIX
Let him go, you wouldnt want to cage a wild beast.
CUT TO:
Int. SCHOOL BUILDING, AFTER FEW MINUTES

We see OSCAR asking everyone about LA CAMARILLA whereabouts.

A boy tells OSCAR that La Camarilla is at the schools
parking lot.
CUT TO:
Int. Mr. MARTINEZS OFFICE (AT THE SAME TIME)
FELIX, JACK AND EVEYN are telling Mr. Martinez something.
Mr. MARTINEZ
And you let him go?
FELIX
He wouldnt have listened.
Mr. MARTINEZ
No you dont understand it would probably be a trap.
JACK
So Oscar right now is heading into a trap?
EVELYN
Did sir say something else, Jack?
Mr. MARTINEZ
Does anyone know where La Camarilla is?
EVELYN
No!
Mr. MARTINEZ
Then what are you doing here? Go find them and yes dont get
spotted.
CUT TO:
Ext. SCHOOLS PARKING LOT
OSCAR (shouting)
Where are you all? Come out here you bastards!
JOHNNY
Oscar! Oscar! Oscar! I heard that you were very smart, but I
think now all that was a rumor.

OSCAR
Say what you want, at the end of the day youre not walking
out of here.
JOHNNY
But I have to say you have a bit of an attitude. And I like
that. Wish you were on our side.
OSCAR
Youre going to wish that more after this.
OSCAR picks up a brick lying on the ground and throws it
towards JOHNNY. But JOHNNY dodges it.
JOHHNY
This is the best you can do?
OSCAR tries to hit JOHNNY but before he can, DECLAN hits him
on the head with a metal pipe.
OSCAR falls down on his knees.
DECLAN
This was for insulting me.
DECLAN (CONTD)
Now this is for humiliating me.
DECLAN tries to hit OSCAR on the head again but his metal
pipe is caught in mid air by FELIX.
FELIX quickly deprives DECLAN of his weapon and punches him
in the face.
FELIX helps OSCAR to his feet.
JOHNNY
I was waiting for you, Felix.
FELIX
What even are you? Why did you beat Evelyn?
JOHNNY
Then how would I have been able to bring you all here?
OSCAR (shaking his head)
All?

DECLAN
There on the top of the building. Violet please show our
trophies to our guests.
EVELYN and JACK are both pushed towards the end of the
building. DEAN also appears.
OSCAR
You shouldnt do that?
JOHNNY
Come on! You started this, right? I am just ending it.
DEAN comes down and holds OSCAR on gunpoint.
FELIX
Are you mad? We are not gangsters, we are students. How can
you kill us?
JOHNNY
Just like this, Violet!
VIOLET
Yeah?
JOHNNY
Please throw those two idiots from the building.
OSCAR
No, wait! You have problems with me, kill me but let them
walk away.
JOHNNY
Aw! Thats my favorite dialog. But you cant play this hero
thing here.
FELIX
Dont be mad, Johnny.
JOHNNY
Mad? Are you kidding me? Im the perfect epitome of sanity.
Dean shoot him now.
Mr. MARTINEZ
No you wont.
Mr. MARTINEZ now holds DEAN on the gunpoint.

Mr. MARTINEZ (CONTD)

So will you now let them go, or should I
DEAN
No wait, Johnny let them go.
JOHNNY
Why we can kill three of them?
FELIX hits DECLAN and kicks the pistol of DEANS hand.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Now can we just all calm down and talk about this problem?
JOHNNY
No!
DEAN
Yes, Tell Violet and Alice to come down.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Good.
CUT TO:
Int. DEANS OFFICE
Mr. MARTINEZ and DEAN are sitting while LA CAMARILLA and
FELIX, OSCAR, EVELYN and JACK are standing behind them
respectively.
Mr. MARTINEZ
What do you want, Richards?
DEAN (RICHARDS)
I want Oscar out of this school.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Cant be.
DEAN
Then this talk is useless. We will still continue to beat you
one by one.

Mr. MARTINEZ
Richards, I was good till now because I thought they were
kids and all this was their chilliness. But after what they
did today, they are nothing short of criminals.
OSCAR
And what if I leave?
DEAN
Well leave your friends alone and let them live peacefully
in the school.
Mr. MARTINEZ
No you cant leave
OSCAR
I have to sir. All this is because of me. Im the reason for
all this chaos; well its good to eliminate the reason before
someone eliminates my friends.
OSCAR (CONTD)
But I hope you will keep your word, Dean?
DEAN
I will.
Mr. MARTINEZ
But I have a condition. Oscar will stay in this school. He
would only appears for exams.
DEAN
Accepted.
Mr. MARTINEZ
Okay, I hope you all wont fight now.
MARTINEZ and all others leave.
FLASHBACK ENDS.
Int. WAREHOUSE; (late in night)
EVELYN
So the following night he left the school. I was hoping he
will say bye or something. But he didnt. Maybe it would have
been too hard for him to say bye to us.

SCARLET
La Camarilla deserves the taste of their own medicine.
EVELYN
Means?
SCARLET
Can you take me to Oscar and Mr. Martinez?
FELIX
Well its better you go home now cause it is too late.
SCARLET
Yes or no?
JACK
Okay, we will.
FELIX
What? No. Itll be suicide for you to even meet Oscar. If La
Camarilla came to know that you met Oscar, theyll make your
life a living hell here.
SCARLET
It is already a living hell. And I always believe that if
something kicks happiness out of your life, you should kick
them out of your life.
EVELYN
You are just like him, Okay we will take you to him. But now
go home, Felix will drop you.
SCARLET
Okay, bye take care.
SCARLET, FELIX and JACK leave but JACK is called by EVELYN
from behind.
EVELYN
Jack, where do you think you are going to? Come here and help
me in cleaning.
FELIX and SCARLET laugh while JACK makes an annoying face
towards EVELYN who also does the same.
CUT TO:
Next day, after school. Oscars Garage.

We see FELIX, EVELYN and SCARLET standing on the pavement.

FELIX
This time Im gonna get him.
EVELYN
Lets See. My take you wont.
FELIX tries to sneak into the garage. OSCAR is seen working
beneath a car.
OSCAR(pushing himself out)
Felix! Why do you even try this thing?
FELIX
Aw! Man! Not again is there a camera beneath the car? Let me
check.
EVELYN
No, there is a tracker in your body Felix. I wonder how does
this guy figures out whenever we are in trouble.
OSCAR
Thats easy. You always run into trouble. Actually every
other day.
OSCAR notices SCARLET.
OSCAR(Annoyed)
I see you brought guest.
EVELYN
Yeah, we got you one.
OSCAR
Miss. Whatever your name is... Staying here and meeting me
will have consequences.
SCARLET

FELIX, EVELYN and SCARLET are seated on the sofas.

Right now, our biggest concern is La Camarilla. What if they

DECLAN (walking in the warehouse)

FELIX stands up and goes to DECLAN

LA CAMARILLA DASHES IN THE WAREHOUSE AND HOLDS FELIX And

EVELYN
DECLAN walks up to SCARLET with a baseball bat.
DECLAN
Scarlet Smith! Heard you are making some new friends, now
make this bat as your friend.
DECLAN lifts the bat to hit SCARLET but is someone holds the
bat in mid air.
DECLAN
Again!?
We see OSCAR standing behind DECLAN.
DECLAN (unaware of Oscars presence)
Now who the hell wants some beating?
DECLAN turns around to see OSCAR. He drops the bat on the
ground stunned.
OSCAR
Missed me, dude?
VIOLET
What are you doing here? We had a deal.
OSCAR
Right, we had a deal. I stay the hell away from here, and you
leave my friends alone. But it seems the deal is off now.
VIOLET
Huh? This idiot is your friend now? Of all the things I hate
about you Oscar.... I hate your choice of friends. These
douche bags you run with are nothing but liabilities.
SCARLET
Lets see, whos a liability and whos a bitch.
ALICE
The chickens have started speaking now.
FELIX and EVELYN shrug of JIMMY and MATTHEW (members of La
Camarilla)

FELIX
Lets settle this, now.
DECLAN
Not here, why dont you prepare a team against the La
Camarilla and face us at the inter group competition later
this month. You know, we are kids and all, not criminals.
EVELYN
Oh! Please those competitions are fixed. The judges are sold
out. Thats the only explanation you win it every year.
DECLAN
You scared, Oscar?
OSCAR
Nah! Nothing better to beat your enemy in his own game.
JIMMY
Hey Matthew! Ever saw a donkey day dreaming?
EVELYN
We all know who is the donkey here Jim.
DECLAN
Enough! Well see you in one month.
OSCAR

LA CAMARRILLA leaves. OSCAR, EVELYN and FELIX share a hug
with SCARLET watching.
SCARLET
So we need a team? I dont even know what this competition is
about.
OSCAR
The competition consists of 5 rounds. The first three for 1
point each, consist of two people from either side.
EVELYN
The first is Triathlon type rally race. Starts with cycling,
swimming and finally running.
FELIX

The first two phases are filmed and shown on a big screen,
here in the school. The last stage is not. Thats where the
cheating takes place. Knocking out players and taking lifts
from car are all legal cause there is no one to stop you.
OSCAR
The second is a little less physical. Its a quiz.
EVELYN
Again, La Camarilla will already know the answers.
Probability of winning well nill.
FELIX
Third is a simple dance off. We can win this if we learn some
moves.
OSCAR
The next two rounds are team games. They involve the whole
teams.
FELIX
First is a shootout. Not with guns but with lazer toys.
EVELYN
Then we have a type of everything goes flagship match. We
need to get 5 flags. Each flag is guarded by max 2 person.
SCARLET
Well we are only 4. We are going to need 6 more people.
FELIX
Did I say that it is impossible to beat LA Camarilla in this
competition?
OSCAR
We did once, we will do it twice.
EVELYN
We got lucky that day.
OSCAR
Lucky? You know what luck is? Luck is winning a lottery. And
I have never won a buck off those scratch offs. All we did
and how we won is all because we were worthy of a win, not
just lucky to win.

SCARLET
Luck or no luck! That doesn't matter. What matters is a
team... Can't we just reassemble the old team, the one with
who you won?
FELIX
Like LA Camarilla will allow us to get them together.
JAKE (WALKING IN THE WAREHOUSE)
Well you got one back!
EVELYN
It's not you Jack. As much as I know LA Camarilla they would
have started threatening our old friends already.
OSCAR
The way I see this, is we need to act quick now. I'll take
Edmond, Lauren and Ethan.
FELIX
That leaves us with Philip and Pepper.
OSCAR
Jack, go with Felix and Scarlet. Evelyn come along we have a
lot to discuss.
FELIX
How will you find them? It has been quite a time since we
last talked or even saw each other.
OSCAR
Something's never change Felix.
OSCAR and EVELYN leave.
SCARLET
So who's the other five we are looking for?
JACK
The two we are going for Philip and Pepper are sort of love
birds. But they are awesome at dancing.
SCARLET
What about the three Oscar's gone to recruit?
FELIX

Edmond is the nerd, here. He's all brains. Lauren is the girl
with the heart, a never back down attitude. And Ethan....
(Stops speaking)
SCARLET
Ethan what?
JACK
You'll see.
CUT TO:
Ext. Roof of the school.
We see OSCAR and EVELYN climbing the stairs.
EVELYN
Are you sure? Is this a good idea?
OSCAR
What?
EVELYN
What? What! All this competition we won it previous time and
then all that happened.
OSCAR
See I don't know. I don't know if we will kick LA Camarilla's
ass or get ours kicked. But what I know I left a business
unfinished. And that hurt the people I loved the most.
EVELYN
Oh! Don't get too sentimental now. Let's do it.
OSCAR nods his head. They arrive on the roof top.
We see EDMOND sitting on the roof reading a book.
EDMOND (Noticing OSCAR)
Ah! Dude! Seems like a century.(Rises and hugs OSCAR)
OSCAR
I need your help.
EDMOND
Anything for you. What do you want? An article on the big
bang theory, or on the human brain.

OSCAR

EDMOND
You always have me. I'm just a call away. Tell what do you
need me for?
OSCAR
Remember that competition we won last year, now we need to
win it again.
EDMOND
Done. Wait a minute is it against LA Camarilla?
OSCAR (nervously)
Yeah!
EDMOND
Well than it would be fun!
OSCAR, EVELYN and EDMOND all smile.
CUT TO:
INT. CAFETARIA
We see SCARLET and FELIX sitting on a table.
SCARLET
Where are those two lovebirds?
FELIX
Relax Scarlet! Jack has gone to fetch them.
SCARLET
Why don't we go to them ourselves?
FELIX
Cause they don't like company.
SCARLET
Typical lovebirds.
FELIX
Do you think we can win this competition?
SCARLET

I don't know! And honestly I don't care. I just want to give

those LA Camarilla a fight of their life. Winning is a bonus
for me.
FELIX

We see DEAN and PEPPER arrive with JACK.
JACK
These guys are so hard to find!
FELIX AND DEAN shake hands.
DEAN
So why were you looking for us?
SCARLET
We need your help DEAN.
DEAN
Scarlet Smith.... The most famous girl on the campus.
SCARLET
Well being famous for showing some plastics their place.
PEPPER

FELIX
Remember, the competition we won last year?
DEAN
Yeah, how can I forget? We were on top of those idiots.
FELIX
We need to do that again!
DEAN

PEPPER
OSCAR did a favor on us, time to return it now.

An unknown girl appears.
LAUREN
Heard someone is going to bring a fight and I'm not invited?
FELIX

SCARLET

LAUREN
Yeah you need my help and whatever. You know the girl you
helped the first day here? You owe me one.
SCARLET
I owe you nothing. But I do need you to end that LA Camarilla
for once and for all!
LAUREN
I accept. Just give me a little more time with those idiots.
FELIX

CUT TO:
Ext. Schools park.
We see OSCAR, EVELYN, SCARLET, PHILIP and other people
standing.
JACK
Where's Ethan?
OSCAR
I don't know.
SCARLET
Wait we are still a man down. But I wasn't there with you
last year. Who filled my place?

Everyone look at each other then at SCARLET.

EVELYN
Mr. Martinez
SCARLET
How can a professor be a part of the competition?
JACK
Well there was this guy named Smith and he joined us but at
the eleventh hour sold us out. So Mr. Martinez joined us
because there was no one else.
SCARLET
And where is that guy now?
FELIX
In La camarilla. He is Johnny's right hand man. Will never
show up before the event.
OSCAR
Enough talk! Now lets find Ethan before La Camarilla finds
him.
SCARLET seems confused and suspicious.
Ext. Parking lot, Sometime later that day.
We see an UNKNOWN PERSON talking to LA CAMARILLA.
Soon LA CAMARILLA leave. We see OSCAR in the background.
UNKNOWN (without even turning and seeing)
Oscar! My old gone friend.
OSCAR
Ethan no one has gone anywhere. And what were you doing with
La Camarilla?
ETHAN
Selling you out.
OSCAR (laughs)
Without even knowing anything.
ETHAN still has his back turned against OSCAR.

ETHAN
What is there to know? A coward trying to stick broken pieces
of glass together in a desperate attempt to hide the cracks.
OTHERS arrive.
OSCAR
Ethan, face me now!
ETHAN
Dont tempt me Oscar, you know what happens if I turn around.
OSCAR
Ah! Much talk and little walk the talk. We can see whos the
coward here.
ETHAN looks behind without turning furiated.
FELIX
Here we go again.
ETHAN dashes towards OSCAR. A fight breaks out between the
two.
SCARLET (Screaming)
Stop them!
Nobody responds.
SCARLET (contd)
Okay? I will stop them myself.
EVELYN holds SCARLETS hand and nods her head in disapproval.
SCARLET frees her hand from EVELYNS grip and runs to stop
OSCAR and ETHAN.
ETHAN
So you got backup, huh?
OSCAR
What are you doing Scarlet? Just go!
SCARLET
Why the heck you both are beating each other up?
ETHAN

Oh! Let me guess, you didnt tell her nothing Oscar?

OSCAR
Ethan stop it! Thats past.
SCARLET
Whats going on here?
ETHAN
Poor, poor Scarlet. Sweetheart you think you are doing the
right thing, huh? They all are playing you since day one.
SCARLET
what!? Oscar what is he talking about?
OSCAR bows his head and doesnt speak a word.
ETHAN
He wont tell anything. I will tell you!
OSCAR
Ethan! Stop please stop.
ETHAN
Why? Everyone needs to know the truth.
OSCAR lands few punches on ETHAN.
SCARLET
Stop you both!
DECLAN appears behind ETHAN.
DECLAN (to ETHAN)
Do you need backup?
Everyone is shocked, EHTAN looks at DECLAN.
ETHAN punches DECLAN to the ground.
ETHAN
Do I look like a man who needs backup?
JACK
Come on lets get out of here before his friends arrive.
EHTAN

I am not coming with you all!

ETHAN leaves and others leave after him, DECLAN starts to
show some movement.
CUT TO:
Int. Warehouse, an hour later.
We see EVELYN, FELIX and OSCAR talking.
SCARLET is sting away beside a window with her head deep in
her lap.
EVELYN signals OSCAR towards SCARLET.
OSCAR walks up and sits in front of SCARLET.
OSCAR
Hey!
SCARLET looks up but doesnt speak and starts to look out of
the window.
OSCAR looks at EVELYN who signals OSCAR to talk to SCARLET.
But before OSCAR speaks, SCARLET starts.

SCARLET
You know, in my whole life I have only done what I have
is right to do. I helped that girl not because I wanted
a hero but because it wasnt fair. I want to take out
Camarilla because they are wrong and we are right. But
when I look at it, things just dont add up. Its like
all are just telling lies after lies.
OSCAR
So you believe Ethan?
SCARLET
Give me a reason not to.

SCARLET
But why? Why cant you just tell the truth?
OSCAR
You see, sometimes people deserve better than the truth.
SCARLET

Okay then ask what you want to know.
SCARLET
What was Ethan talking about?
OSCAR
You remember the things Felix and Evelyn told you?
SCARLET

Well, lets say, everything wasnt true.
SCARLET

OSCAR
You see, we dont get into fights, we are drawn into them. I
didnt choose to hold a grudge against La camarilla. Me and
Ethan we stood against La Camarilla.
SCARLET
Well there is nothing wrong with that.
OSCAR
That was just the beginning the real deal is yet to come.
Ethan and I started to drift apart. He wanted to end this but
I didnt wanted violence. We got in the competition, hoping
to end this conflict in a peaceful manner. But at the day of
competition Elvis Smith, whom Felix told you about, betrayed

us and joined La Camarilla. Ethan brought his sister, Julie,

to fill the spot. We were winning the competition, I remember
we were 2-2 and just needed to tag Declan. As I was going to
grab the flag, I saw Johnny aiming at me with a gun. I ducked
and somehow Johnny shot Julie who was just behind me. Shes
still in coma. After this Ethan left us, saying that it was
my mistake.
OSCAR (contd)
I didnt give up. We kept on fighting and then that incident
happened. I was kicked out of the school and Ethans anger
grew as I failed him and my friends again. When we heard you
were joining the school, we thought of you as our last chance
at something. La Camarilla wanted you to join them, but we
manipulated situations so that you start to hate them. we let
La Camarilla reach you so I could come back to the school.
SCARLET
So since the starting I have been nothing more than a bait?
FELIX
I know it feels bad Scarlet but we had to do this.
SCARLET
Feel bad? Have you ever been fed to the wolves so a lion can
make his way back to his den? It feels terrible. Ethan was
right Oscar, you are a coward.
EVELYN
Now thats why we didnt want to tell the truth.
OSCAR
Yeah, I am a coward. But there is a difference between
walking away for awhile and giving up.
SCARLET
Good, cause I am not doing either of it. You played this game
by your rules, now you will play it by my rules.
OSCAR
Fair enough!
A boy dashes into the warehouse.
BOY
Oscar, La Camarilla has pinned Jack.

OSCAR
Felix stay here with them. I am not making the same mistake
twice.
OSCAR runs out of the warehouse.
A FEW MINUTES LATER.
The same boy comes again.
BOY
Felix, Oscar is in trouble, you gotta hurry.
FELIX is hesitant but after a few thoughts decides to go.
SCARLET
something doesnt feel right.
EVELYN (looking around in fear)
Something? Nothing feels right at the moment.
SOME PEOPLE are talking at the door.
EVELYN (whispering)
Thats the voice of Elvis
SCARLET
Shit! Now you do what I say. I will be the decoy you run as
fast as you can and tell Oscar about all this.
EVELYN
But
SCARLET
you owe me one for everything you have done. I will take the
window you take the front door after they start to chase me.
SCARLET climbs out of the window and deliberately trips a
trash can.
LA CAMARILLA spots SCARLET and she starts to run. EVELYN
making the use of the distraction gets out and runs to inform
OSCAR.
Ext. School campus.

We see SCARLET running and throwing stuff along the path to

create a hindrance in the path of ELVIS and JOHNNY.
SCARLET is stuck with the bat in the stomach by VIOLET who
was hiding behind a pole. SCARLET falls to the ground in some
pain.
CUT TO:
Ext. somewhere in the school.
We see OSCAR fighting DECLAN.
OSCAR hits DECLAN with a punch that knocks him down. FELIX
arrives. OSCAR sees FELIX and looks shocked.
OSCAR
What are you doing here? Where are Evelyn and Scarlet?
FELIX
At the warehouse. But didnt you need help?
OSCAR
Help? Help for what? This douche bag?
EVELYN arrives too.
OSCAR
Thank god! Youre here.
EVELYN (puffing)
Oscar Scarlet!
CUT TO:
Int. SOMEWHERE IN THE SCHOOL, at the same time.
We see LA CAMARILLA circled around SCARLET.
VIOLET
So what should we do with her? She got away the first two
times but not now!
ALICE
Me first, me first!

ALICE walks up to SCARLET and slaps her with all her might.
VIOLET
Declan show her your strength.
SCARLET is frightened and her faith shattered.
JOHNNY
With pleasure!
JOHNNY grabs SCARLET by her hair.
MATTHEW
Lets show this girl her place.
ALICE
You messed with the wrong girl!
SOMEONE FROM A DARK AREA
Yeah you did!
We see ETHAN as he walks into the light.
ETHAN
Leave her and no further harm will be done to you all!
JOHNNY
AH! You. (Leaves SCARELT and pushes her towards MATTHEW). We
have unfinished business.
ETHAN
Finish it then.
JOHNNY walks up and stares ETHAN in his face.
ETHAN
You see I am not Oscar.
ETHAN kicks JOHNNY below the belt.
SCARLET somehow manages to free herself and hides behind
ETHAN.
A fight breaks out with ETHAN decapitating JIMMY and MATTHEW.
But his right arm is badly injured.

ETHAN (shaking some life back into his right hand)

Alice and Violet! May I ask you both to run or should I
ALICE (cutting ETHAN off in between)
You all will pay, especially you Ethan, you and your sister.
SCARLET pushes ALICE into a wooden crate.
SCARLET
Touch Julie and I will send your ass to hell myself.
VIOLET runs away.
CUT TO:
Int. warehouse, few minutes later.
We see EVEYLN and JACK.
OSCAR comes in moments later, running.
OSCAR
Wheres Felix did he find Scarlet?
FELIX comes as well.
FELIX
Oscar, I am sorry
OSCAR punches and shatters the window in anger.
The door of the warehouse opens and everyone look at it I
desperation.
ETHAN walks in and behind him is SCARLET.
EVELYN rushes and hugs SCARLET.
SCARLET
Hey! Hey! I am fine; now let me go I am choking.
OSCAR
Ethan
ETHAN
Not a word Oscar, you failed me once again. First Julie, then
them and now her.

OSCAR
And you saved my ass once again.
ETHAN
I am tired of winning your losing fights Oscar. Youre a mess
of a human. Youre an idiot.
ETHAN (contd)
If I was a second late, she might just wouldnt be here the
same. You fail the one who trust you the most.
OSCAR
Look
ETHAN (cuts him of in between)

ETHAN starts to walk out of the warehouse.
SCARLET calls from behind.
SCARLET

ETHAN stops and looks back without turning.
SCARLET
We need you. Dont come back for me, or for this dumb ass.
Come back for Julie. Finish this once and for all. They wont
leave you alone and you know that.
ETHAN

ETHAN

I bet Julie would have cared about us.
ETHAN

ETHAN (contd)
Okay I will help you but only for two reasons. Numero one,
for Julie. And Number two because someone called him what he

ETHAN leaves, we see a humorous smile on his face.

SCARLET
People get what they deserve, Oscar. I would be far happier

OSCAR

SCARLET (cutting him of much to his dismay of always being
interrupted in between)
Thats the problem with you, you think too much. The best
decision are always spontaneous, the one taken by heart in a
second not by hours of prudentially critical analysis by
brain.
SCARLET leaves as well, fixing her hair.
EVEYLYN, FELIX, JACK and OSCAR look at each other.
CUT TO:
Int. SCARLETs home. Late night.
SCARLET is sitting on the dining table with her dad, thinking
and just moving her spoon in the dinner without eating
anything.
JOHN
You okay, sweetie?
SCARLET
Um yeah Im just not hungry.
JOHN
Thats the quality that made me fall in love with your mom,
you know?

SCARLET
What!? Which quality?
JOHN
Never being able to tell a lie.
SCARLET
Im not lying I am just not hungry.
JOHN
Then look up and say it while looking at your mothers photo.
SCARLET (looking at her mothers picture hanging on the wall,
stammers while speaking)

JOHN

SCARLET
Just some school trouble.
JOHN

Well what if somebody lied to you to make you work on a
thing? Even though its a good thing.
JOHN
Initially I would be angry but then if its a good cause I
dont care how I get involve till I get involve and do
things. You see, some people well they have gone through so
much that they doubt everything. They just analyze so much
that they forget that not all people are the same.
JOHN (CONTD)
They try to come up with a perfect plan, but end up planning
things that shouldnt be planned. You can manipulate people
only to make them find out the truth on their own Scarlet.
SCARLET

JOHN

Listen to what your heart says. Dont make the same mistake
that person did. Dont analyze thing. Just go the way your
heart goes and take your brain with you.
SCARLET

SCARLET gets up and hugs her dad.
JOHN

Ext. School Campus.
Everyone is involved in something that appears to be a
welcome back event for someone.
We see SCARLET walking and trying to figure out what the fuss
is all about.
Soon EVELYN approaches SCARLET and hugs her to say hello.
SCARLET (while waving her hand to say hello to FELIX)
What is all this preparation about?
EVELYN
Someone important is coming back after a vacation.
SCARLET
And who is that someone?
JACK and OSCAR arrive.
OSCAR
Mr. Martinez.
Mr. Martinez, a man in his early forties but with a good
physique arrives amidst great applauses.
SCARLET
I guess he is really the hero here.
JACK
Hero? That guy is a god here.

Mr. MARTINEZ stands in front of OSCAR.

OSCAR
Look whos back! How have you been sir?
MR. MARTINEZ
Yeah look whose back. Leave me, how are you?
OSCAR

MR. MARTINEZ interrupts EVELYN
MR. MARTINEZ
Scarlet Smith, from Colorado. 4 times dancing champion, 2
times triathlon champion and an A+ achiever in academics. An
accomplishments list bettered by only Oscar and Ethan in this
school.
EVELYN (Surprised)
Well, even I didnt know that.
MR. MARTINEZ
All of you, in my office immediately.
CUT TO:
Int. MR. MARTINEZS OFFICE, a few minutes later.
We see JACK, EVELYN, OSCAR, SCARLET and FELIX standing in
front of MR. MARTINEZ who is sitting on his chair.
MR. MARTINEZ
So you all have decided to take on La Camarilla again? I wish
I could say I am surprised.
OSCAR
Wait! What do you mean sir?
MR. MARTINEZ
Youre not the only person that can manipulate and predict
things, Oscar.

OSCAR

MR. MARTINEZ
No offense Scarlet, but you are a person who can be easily
manipulated to do things. Youre a heart driven person. You
do what your heart says. No second questions asked, actually
you ask questions after doing things.
SCARLET

MR MARTINEZ
And when I saw you in the office on the day your dad came
here to get you an admission form, I realized Oscar wont let
this slip away. You were perfect to be his ticket back here.
SCARLET
Yeah, sir! I have a history of being played with. Anyway I
hope you havent called us here to discuss my flaws.
