POWER OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP

God through our dear man of God Pastor Chris declared

this month of August as the month of praise in our year
of greatness.Praise can be defined as honouring God for
who he is ,what he means in our lives and what he has
done to us.We ought to praise the lord for we are
already overcomers as the bible declares in 1 John 5vs
4, that whatever is born of the word of God has
overcame the world and its systems. Praise can be
expressed usually be expressed through song and
dance and the lifting up of our hands as a sign of
victory.
Pastor quoted Hebrews 13vs15 which says that let us
continually offer unto him the sacrifice of praise ie the
fruit of our lips giving thanks unto his name,
acknowledging that Jesus is at work in our lives, seeing
him in our business,academics,finances ,marriages
etc.No matter the circumstances and challenges we
should give him praise for his presence in our lives,
recognising him in everything we do.
The reason we are all in the land of living is to give
praise to God, when our praises go up ,his glory comes
down and will surely be revealed in our lives.There is
something unique about praise,it actually provokes the
unction of the holyspirit to perfom miracles.Through
praise you can actually cause confusion and terror in
the territory of the enemy,you know Paul and Silas
prayed and sang praises unto God when they were
send to prison and suddenly ,there was a great
earthquake,so the foundation of the prison were shaken
and immediately all the doors were opened and every

one~s bands were loosed,Acts 16vs 25,When faced

with a particular scenario just begin to praise God and a
miracle will happen,praising God is our password
throughout this month to the realm of the miraculous.
Psalms 145vs3 says great is the lord and greatly to be
praised and his greatness is unsearchable,pastor said
throughout this month praise the lord everyday with
words,praise him with your offering and see him in your
situation,discover his presence for he has not not left
you to defeat and he will still the enemy on your behalf
ie to bring the enemy into silence.
Praise is so powerful and has the ability to cause
changes in the spiritual realm and in 2 Chronicles
20vs17,21 king Jeosophat recognised it when he was
about to be attacked and he put singers in the battle
front against the children of Ammon,Moab and Mount
Seir and like what the lord had said that this battle is
not yours but lord~s,they did not even fought that
battle as there was chaos in the camp of the enemy.No
matter the challenge this month always know that the
battle is not yours but the lord~s,so just like king
Jeosophat before you do anything,just praise the lord
and he will fight for you all yourt battles .
