Re-structured Santa Fe Springs operation and positioned for future growth and possible sale of the business. Split
operation into three distinct Strategic Business Units with new manufacturing management and engineering
support. Re-aligned financial reporting into three distinct Business Unit P&Ls reflecting the actual overhead
structure of each unit. This was accomplished with no headcount increase. Completed major plant layout changes
and introduced key capacity additions to balance and improve material flow and velocity. TECT is a major
Aerospace producer of Blisks/IBRs for turbine engines and other products. Top leadership position.
ArmorWorks Enterprises, LLC (Defense Contractor)
VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER SHOCKRIDE, LLC

2006-2015

Launched the mine blast attenuating seat business as a stand-alone LLC from ArmorWorks in 2008, achieving
major revenue and EBITDA growth, building it to be the largest U.S. manufacturer of vehicle blast attenuating
seats in the Defense industry. Built strategic relationships with General Dynamics Land Systems, Textron Marine
& Land Systems, Navistar Defense and BAE Systems. Launched subsidiary units in the UK and Canada under
State Department MLAs. Outstanding quality and delivery performance to all customers with over 100,000 seats
fielded in the US and UK. With the decline in defense spending over the past two years, restructured the business
for profitability and future growth. Top leadership position.
VICE PRESIDENT & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER- DIRECTOR PROGRAMS
Implemented major culture change driving quality, revenue and EBITDA performance to new heights. Initially
headed the Program Management group and Product Engineering, with responsibilities for all new business
development, management of programs through qualification, release to production and contract execution, and

P&L responsibilities. ArmorWorks is a leading supplier of ballistic armor systems to the U.S. Military, and was
named Manufacturer of the Year by the Arizona Association of Industries.

Deployed Lean and Quality initiatives with emphasis on deployment of Kanban pull systems throughout
the operation and the supply chain. Achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2008. Achieved a
$11,000,000 inventory reduction in 8 months.

Achieved best record for armor supply in the history of the company in 2008, with over $100,000,000 of
body, vehicle and aircraft armor products produced on-time to the customer with zero defects.

Set new standards for program management and re-negotiated Navy contracts to achieve successful
execution with improved profitability.

Developed new blast attenuating seat designs from core intellectual property and launched marketing &
sales initiatives to penetrate new JLTV and MRAP programs for the Military. Positioned ArmorWorks
for substantial revenue growth in this segment in the coming years.

Secured $250mm contract with AM General to armor HMMWVs for the Afghan Military.

Parmatech Corporation
GENERAL MANAGER

1998-2006

Turned around this acquired subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corporation, a developing niche technology
company (metal and ceramic injection molding) with high growth potential. Held full P&L accountability with the
charter to turn around the operations. Grew the business to profitability in North America and expand globally
through our technology licensee network and new ventures. Accomplished successful divestiture of the business
in 2003, meeting the goals of the parent company and the new owners. Top leadership position.

Created a customer-focused strategy and turned around relationships with the top five customers while
bringing on-time delivery performance from 40% to over 90%. Grew the business threefold in six years
and turned around the bottom line to profitability.

Deployed Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma strategies bringing solid bottom line results and improved
productivity 400%+ over a several year period, bringing Parmatech to profitability and global
competitiveness.

Introduced medium and high volume CNC machining into the operations.

Acquired new business with new customers that included IBM, Motorola (wirelesss), Moen, (Fortune
Brands, Inc.), Ethicon Endo Surgery, Sybron Dental, Textron and others worth over $30 million

Joined this privately held firm as an equity partner responsible for manufacturing and engineering for this
$150mm company. With the reorganization into divisions in 97, assumed P&L accountability as VP & General
Manager of Engineering Operations. InteSys is a large multi-unit custom molder of highly engineered products
for the telecommunications, automotive, computer, and consumer electronics industries.

Achieved $21mm of revenues and $1.2mm profit on tooling sales alone in 97.

Launched Pacific Rim tool sourcing initiative, projected to generate over 40% savings

Reduced lead-times for the design / fabrication of complex, multi-cavity tools by 40%, achieving best-in-class
standards.

Developed and patented leading edge in-mold decorating of cosmetic plastic products (phone lenses).

Reduced company-wide inventories by over $3mm through new sourcing initiatives and the introduction of
Kanban systems in manufacturing. Generated over $3mm of purchased material cost savings.

1993 - 1995

Held full P&L accountability for international producer of force measurement products.

Developed new strategic and operating plans...initiated new market strategies...and turned around four years
of declining orders/shipments.
