E. The objectives of the study are to describe the literary elements of Ann
McGoverns Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest the novel and to analyze the moral
values implied in Ann McGoverns Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest the novel
and its implication on education. This research is descriptive qualitative
research. The writer utilized the documentation method in collecting the data
while in data analysis the researcher used observation and taking notes
technique. The researcher also looked for other informations which related to the
research problems. After analyzing the novel Robin Hood of Sherwood Forest,
the writer took some conclusions which the moral values are bravery,

humbleness, honesty, steadfastness, sympathetic to others, cooperativeness,

thankfulness, kind-hearted, trustworthiness, sincerity, love and affection.

L. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan unsur dari novel Robin
Hood of Sherwood Forest dan untuk menganalisa nilai moral yang terkandung di
dalamnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penulis menggunakan
beberapa metode dalam menggabungkan data dalam menganalisa novel tersebut.
Penulis menggunakan beberapa informasi yang berhubungan dengan masalah
yang ada didalamnya. Setelah menganalisa novel Robin Hood of Sherwood
Forest, penulis mengambil beberapa kesimpulan nilai moral seperti keberanian,
kesederhanaan, kejujuran, keteguhan hati, simpati, kepercayaan, keikhlasan,
cinta, dan kasih sayang.
