Q1

I have filled the online application form. Where do I send the application form?

You are not required to send the application to EIL. You are required to only submit it online. The print
out of the application should be retained and a copy of the application is required to be submitted at
the time of reporting, in case of selection.

What are the educational qualifications for each vacancy?

I have secured 7.1 CGPA in Diploma (Engg.) / Diploma (Safety) and equivalent %age of marks comes to
64%. What am I supposed to enter in the application form?

You are required to enter percentage of marks as per grading system followed by your
institute/university. You will be required to produce certificate from the University/ Institution
regarding equivalent % of marks in case CGPA/ CPI or other grades in qualifying examination is
awarded.
In case of non-availability of any such certificate, EIL will have liberty to convert that into % by
applying its own procedure.
Percentage of marks to be reported to 2 decimal places and must not be rounded off beyond that. For
example 69.95% cannot be rounded off to 70%

My University / Institute has not awarded Diploma/ ITI Certificate till date. How can I register my
application without uploading the Diploma/ ITI Certificate?

You may upload scanned copy of the Provisional Certificate issued by your University / Institute for
online registration of application. However, your candidature shall be subject to producing final
Diploma/ ITI Certificate.

I have experience in more than one company. How will I fill up the experience?

You are required to fill up the work experience details of one Organisation in the space available and
click on the "Add New Record" button for entering another work experience and click Insert to save
that particular experience. This process will be continued for inserting all relevant experiences. Once
you enter the last work experience details, You are required to click on the "next" button and go to
next page for completion of the application.

I have undergone training or have job experience for a period of 10 months. Am I eligible to apply?

You are eligible to apply. Candidates who had training or job experience for a period of one year or
more are not eligible. Further, candidates undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprentices
Training under Apprentice Act, 1961 are also not eligible.

I have passed my Diploma in Engineering / ITI before 2013. Am I eligible to apply?

No, you are not eligible. Candidate passed out in the year 2013 or 2014 or 2015 are only eligible.

I have entered the wrong details in the On Line Registration Form and I want to change it. Is it possible?

Yes, you can edit your application till close of registration i.e. up to 14.03.2016. For editing, please
follow the same process as was followed for applying first time i.e apply for the same post with the
same e-mail id. You will be able to view your own application. Do the required changes and click
finish to save the details and generate registration no.
How can I know the status of my application after successful registration?

After successful registration, you can check the status of your application by clicking on the link "Status
of Application" against advt. no. HRD/Rectt./Advt./2015-16/06. The link will be displayed in the web
site subsequently.

I have registered my application online but forgotten to take the print-out. How can I take the print-out
of my application form?

You can take the print-out of your filled-in application by clicking on the link "Print Application" against
advt. no. HRD/Rectt./advt./2015-16/06. The link will be displayed in the web site after last date of
online registration i.e. 14.03.2016.

What are the documents I need to upload?

You are required to upload scanned copies (in .jpg/.jpeg format) of your passport size colour
photograph of not more than 75 KB size, signature of not more than 25 KB size, Qualifying Diploma/ ITI
Certificate of not more than 900 KB and caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC-non creamy layer) of
not more than 500 KB before completing (finish) online registration. You are also required to upload
scanned copies of your disability certificate (if disability is equal to or more than 40 %) of not more than
500 KB in .jpg/.jpeg format.
