Reservations by Feb. 19 for Fridays luncheon ($8 per person) & dinner theater
performances ($15 adults/$10 students grade 8 & under). Sat. tickets available at the

Feb. 17, Wed.- Our hearts are stirred with compassion for the innocent ones in wartorn places around the world. Hatred, greed & revenge leave many without even the
least of basics we take for granted. All ladies are invited to come to Sewing Circle,
for the morning and afternoon, held in the Bowmansville basement. Theres always
a quilt going (This is sold & money donated to MCC) Comforts need knotting
(These are shipped to various locations where there is need) Babies especially are
our special project this month. Infant Care Kits: The following new items are
included in a kit(size 3-9 mo.):2 gowns/sleepers (flannel or similar warm, soft
material),2 undershirts/onesies (short or long sleeves), 4 cloth diapers (flat fold),1
receiving blanket (light weight fleece or flannel; (min.36 in.),4 large safety pins, 1
large bar mild soap, in wrapper, 1 pair socks, 1 cap. Remove packaging material
(except soap) and fold into the receiving blanket. Fasten together with safety pins.
Kits can be placed in crib that has been placed in the basement foyer.

Mar. 3, Thurs.- The Malone University Chorale & Chamber Choir will present a
concert Beside Still Waters at 7 p.m. at the Groffdale Mennonite Church, 168 N
Groffdale Rd, Leola. Malone University, located in Canton, Ohio is a Christian
university for the arts, sciences and professions in the liberal arts tradition, affiliated
with the Evangelical Friends Church. The choirs are under the direction of Jon
Peterson. Jon is married to Karen (Miller) Peterson, daughter of John & Mary Lynn
Miller. We are also looking to host some of the students overnight Thursday, March
3, provide breakfast and brown-bag lunch. If you are able to host one or more
students, please sign up on the sheet on the table in the narthex. Questions? See

Mar. 12, Sat.-Stewardship University, a ministry partnership between Everence and
our local faith community, is coming to Lancaster. How much is enough? Lynn
Miller, author of The Power of Enough, will deliver our keynote address this year.
Lynn will tell us about over consumption and false sense of scarcity, and offer tools
to determine when enough is enough in material, financial and other realms of
