Has the Letter of Commerce Letter Dr. Mohamed Basiouny (the International
Water Treatment Expert) been submitted to the Pakistani Embassy in Egypt yet? I
am thinking that if the required Chamber of Commerce Letter has not been
submitted to the Pakistani Embassy in Egypt yet, I am thinking that the Water
Supply and Treatment Expert will not be here by Feb 18-20. If all goes well and the
required paperwork has been submitted to embassy it is my estimation that the
Visa will take at least 5 business days to be issued. After the Visa has been
issued it will take a minimum of 3 days for expert to arrive here. If all goes well and
the completed Visa paperwork is submitted to the Embassy tomorrow ( Feb 12) I
believe Dr. Basiouny will be here no sooner than Monday February 22. This
is only my estimation so dont mark my words on it.
As far as the Procurement Expert, Mr. Virgilio Balandra, when he arrives in
Pakistan will depend largely on how long his Visa takes to be issued. I am thinking it
will take at least 5 business days after Feb 15. My estimation is that he will arrive in
Pakistan during the week from Feb 22- Feb 26 if all goes well. I am thinking that
there are a lot of variables at play here so his exact date of arrival is uncertain at
the moment.
The real question here is what looks better for the JV Team in the eyes of
the client. Is it better to give a good presentation to the client next Wednesday Feb
17 without the International Experts, or is it better to provide a good presentation to
the client very late (anytime during the week of Feb 22 - Feb 26) with at least one
of the experts present during the meeting. This is provided that all the
arrangements fall into place as expected. Your comments would be most highly
valued. Lets solve the problems together. Thank you kindly.

Regarding Water Supply Treatment & Design Expert I requested last week to
EA Karachi Office to provide Karachi Chamber of Commerce Letter. Sample attached
herewith. This letter is mandatory for Egyption national for Pakistan Visit Visa
Application.
Procurement Expert:
He will submit his Visa application on Monday Feb 15, 2016.
I hope that both experts will be in Pakistan around 18-20 Feb.

Dear Mr Shoaib:
We are under a lot of pressure and embarrassment from Client (PSPC)
regarding the availability of Procurement and Treatment experts of JV.
PSPC wanted our JV to make presentation for last one month and they
categorically told us that our JV experts should be present in that
presentation. But unfortunately we couldn't manage the availability of both.
JV plans to make presentation on 17 Feb, 2016 and anticipate that our both
experts be part of that presentation, as per the instructions of MD- PSPC.

I'll be grateful, if you may inform the arrival dates of both the experts, so we
can inform PSPC.
Mr Daniel and myself plan to meet PSPC in the evening.
