Executive Summary
The purpose of this assignment was to examine the potentiality to open a new branch. Research
for this report include face to face ask the question and collect the answer to go to the selected
people. The major finding indicates that Fortune Bank should open a branch in Natore. It also
indelicate that the Bank should provide huge amount of service to the people otherwise the
branch faces the loss.

Introduction
Expanding business by opening a branch office requires a lot of planning and work. While some
steps such as finding a location and staffing office are very logical and practical ones, there are
many other actions you need to take when you open a branch office. Research competitors doing
business in the target market and determine whether they are meeting the needs of customers. Go
to the local chamber of commerce or economic development office and study the target area's
demographics to determine if your services are needed in the area. Establish new goals for
business, including goals for the branch expansion are also important.

Objective of the Assignment


As a student of Bachelor of Business administration I am encouraged to find the similarities
between their learning & real world situation. So, this can also be considered as the objective for
the assignment in a broader sense.

Primary Objective:The primary objective of the report is to compare and analyze the practical experience by
working to link the theoretical knowledge with its application in a real life situation. The purpose
of this report is to find out potentiality to open a new branch.

Secondary Objective:The secondary objective of this report is, after gathering and analyzing information different
sources I have recommend something relevant about my findings.

Methodology of the Assignment


In this study I worked in some specific steps. At first I have planned about the study or this
research. Then I meet some people of Natore in the field of my research as a sample.
Under this method I collected our relevant data. Then I analyzed these data. After that
we I tried to make an assignment.

Research Method:To collect data I follow several stages. Those stages are given below.

Primary Method:I collected information from by ask people from the some question. The gathered information is
then described in this report.

Secondary Method:I also collect those data from different sources such as Websites. The total methodology of the
report is showing before for better clarity and easier understanding.

Limitations:There were some limitations in gathering information for this report. They are: The main limitation I faced in preparing this report was obstacles in finding information.
Getting relevant papers and documents were strictly prohibited.
It was my first time practical experience to work on this kind of research. So I had some
inexperience and lack of communication with the people.

Employment:In Natore most of the people are depend on agriculture. But some people of are also depends on
service. But the people who depend on the industry are very small. So it is mandatory to Fortune
Bank Ltd. to provide huge amount of agricultural oriented product like agriculture loan.

Education:-

Half of populations of Natore are educated but many people are also illiterate. But now a days
illiteracy rate is increasing. So Fortune Bank Ltd. should offer student education loan for poor
people. They also offer student account which does not offer in any Bank in Natore.

In Natore most of the people have their own house. But some are the floating people. In this
situation Bank should provide home loan services which also help floating people.

Most of the people in Natore are Muslim. Some Hindu and other religion people are also there.
So the Bank should offer Islamic banking service and Fortune Bank can provide other banking
regularly to other religion people.

These employees handle all of the financial needs of a particular client. In the past, consumers

would have to obtain their loans, insurance, and deposit services from different individuals
working at different financial firms. But nowadays the idea is changed. So to get attention of
local customer Fortune Bank Ltd. should provide some different kinds of diversified products
which are different to other banks. They can offer these 4 types of diversified products to the
customers.

Money management.
Investment.
Loan and credit card.
Insurance.

Money Management: Integrated Account Service:The integrated account service should offered by Wealth Management encompasses deposits,
current and investment accounts, etc. One can conduct all their deposit and investment
transactions through an integrated platform. It improves the Bank financial ability.
Deposits:A comprehensive range of savings, time and current deposits are should offered by Fortune
Bank Ltd. diverse needs in daily transactions. Because the people of live in Natore are
middle class.
Payroll Service:Fortune Bank Ltd should offer their customers Payroll Service by which they can receive
their salary by auto pay through their account.

With the card customer of Fortune Bank Ltd can withdraw cash and make direct debit
payment in our ATM network to enjoy greater convenience in financial management.
Otherwise the customer can shift to other bank.

Investment:Fortune Bank Ltd. should provide a comprehensive suite of investment products and services to
capture investment opportunities for potential returns.
Funds:Fortune Bank Ltd should offer investment Product Specialists and wealth management
professionals provide their with latest market and fund information. One can also access the
information through our extensive branch network and Internet Banking to keep up with the
market trends and manage your fund portfolio. In Natore no other bank offers this kind s of
service.
Bonds:Fortune Bank Ltd should provide one-stop bonds trading services through multiple trading
channels Internet Banking and Phone Banking. By doing this they can attach customers.
Foreign exchange: Fortune Bank Ltd should offer foreign trading of various currencies through our branches,
Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Phone Banking and Manned Investment.
Precious metals:Fortune Bank Ltd should provide physical precious metals trading in gold and silver.
because in Natore huge amount of gold in trade daily.
In additional to trading by physical delivery, one can invest in notional precious metals,
