A Shepherds View
Growing up Italian, having a fig tree was a delicate treasure
for our family that was to be patiently nurtured and cared for. In
todays Gospel of the Third Sunday of Lent Jesus explains that this
type of care is the same way that God patiently awaits for us! God
waits, and cares, and forgives, and loves because we are a treasure
in His eyes.
Parents and Grandparents are the same way! They watch a
sonogram become a baby and a child to an adult. Children should
also gaze upon seniors in the same way, since many of them begin
to become like infants again. Let us all try to be a bit more patient
with ourselves and others. Ask God on your desert journey for a
renewed gift of patience.
It takes patience to read scriptures; patience to be reconciled;
patience in dealing with others who are obstinate, selfish, suffering
or unsure.

Look long at the Good Shepherd, Who, to save His sheep,
endured the suffering of the Cross.
Easter Decorations
We are in need of 4 people to purchase 2 Spring Wreaths
each and 2 people to purchase Spring Garland each to help
decorate the Church. Flowers, both real and artificial will be
used to further the Easter Season.
