Summer Intern, Rolands & Associates, Monterey, CA, June 2008-Present
June-September 2008: Utilized the content management system Joomla to design a web application for employees
to manage source code bugs and fixes, update personal status, and schedule vacation and project dates. Wrote
custom PHP and JavaScript code to interact with MySQL database and user interface. Created PDF
documentation for using and recreating the application.

June-September 2009: Implemented an existing company design for a Data Repository System to extract subsets
of scenario data from the main database. The program, written in Java, extracts information from XML files that
define the database and user interface. The database includes multiple dependencies, which are coded into the
program. Upon selection of specific entries, the program builds a new database and inserts data extracted from the
main repository. Began designing a Java program with XML defined user interface to replace the company’s
current Data Development System.
