Introduction

Queen Mary has a long history of welcoming students from around the world. Over
the years, many thousands of international students have graduated from the
college and gone on to pursue successful careers. Today, we are home to students
from more than 100 different countries. This diversity contributes to a lively and
welcoming community which should make you feel comfortable and at home.
One of the largest colleges of the University of London and one of the few with fully
integrated teaching, research and residential facilities, our setting gives you the
benefits both of a large campus environment and of the countless academic and
social opportunities of London.
There are currently 139 students from Bangladesh at Queen Mary studying a range
of courses including: Law, Economics, Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical
Engineering

Background
Department of Information Technology is the heart of the Technology that has the direct
contribution in todays state of the Art technology in the world. To serve the nation and
international arena, UITS contribute to Department of Information Technology with the modern
and high configured Lab to develop the Faculty members and the Students in searching new
innovation to extend the existing Technology.
Department of Information Technology was established in 2003 with the goal to enrich the
educational experience of students by enhancing the quality of learning, access to learning,

student services, and student engagement in the University community as well as to provide an
environment that enables leading-edge scholarship and research by the faculty and students.

Sampling design
In my term paper as a sampling design I select the using tools of ICT in UITS they are the
IT based teaching in all subjects, Computer Laboratories ,Telecommunication Laboratory,
Unlimited Internet Access , IT Help Desk, CCtv camera, online web, Online student portfolio.

Research design
IT based teaching in all subjects UITS provides IT based teaching in all subjects; they use the
projector for teaching the topics and during the time of term paper presentation. Provide the basic
concept about the computer and IT through its enlisted courses.
Computer Laboratories it has computer laboratories with full of computer and internet system.
Students can use the lab as much time as they need during the varsity time. Computer based
subjects are teach in the lab most of the time.
Telecommunication laboratories UITS have a good Telecommunication laboratory. It contains
all kinds of telecommunication system which makes the communication more easier.
Unlimited Internet Access UITS provides Unlimited Internet Access through the lan line of its
personnel server. It domain its server PC very carefully, for this reason all types of datas are safe
in the server safely. Students can enjoy their needed internet facilities by this.
IT help desk It help desk provide the help through online system. Any kinds of help needed, if
someone call or mail its address it response just in time.
CCtv camera all kinds of movement of 24 hours are continuously recorded in the sever pc. It is
observed by the high faculty members. Any kinds of occurrences happen it should take action
immediately

Online web UITS have its own online website and mail. All kinds of notice and update are
posted in the website immediately. Any kinds of information review can receive through mail
quickly.
Online student portfolio students have their own portal in the universities websites. They can
access in their profile from any places and can see their result and the payment schedule. For this
they need to show their id card in the main branch office, then they provide a password from
which they can access their sites.

Data collection All types of datas are collected from the university. As a student of UITs its
become easier to collect all kinds of information properly. Some of them are collected by their
websites.

Data analysis the datas are analysis browsing the university by the preliminary analysis.
Limitation Some of the things are hardly come to the term paper, some information was so
tuff to know.

Findings The students of UITS are not satisfy about the ICT products they want to improve
about the internet speed, high configuration PC, adequate PC, proper lift, more cctv camera.
They think if these combine properly then its look better.

Conclusion All university need to improve the use of ICT . It helps to gather knowledge
about the new invention of modern science . which saves money, time and makes our life more
happening.
