HAMILTON, Ill. - Patricia Ann Clarke, 63, of Hamilton, Ill., and formerly of Arkansas, died at 6:53 p.m. Sunday,
Nov. 14, 2004, in Keokuk Area Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 29, 1940, in St. Louis, the
daughter of Nathan and Helen Porter.
She married David W. Clarke on June 15, 1963, in
Mascoutah, Ill.. He preceded her in death while
stationed at Elmendorf AFB Alaska in 1972.

Survivors include: a daughter, Annette Marie

Clarke of Hamilton; a son, Joseph Patrick Clarke
and his wife, Danyelle (Harrison), of Warsaw; her
aunt, Louise Hurley of Warsaw; her brother-in-law,
Jack Clarke and his wife, Fran, of Attleboro, Mass.;
her mother-in-law, Vivian Clarke of North
Attleboro; her sister-in-law, Rev. Barbara Jean
Clarke of Chevy Chase, Md., her cousins Debbie
Althide, of Sutter, Linda Huls of Crystal Lake, Ill.,
and Randy Hurley, of Warsaw, along with all of
their children.

She also was preceded in death by her father, Nathan; her mother, Helen; her brother, Daniel; her father-inlaw, John Clarke, her sister-in-law, Caroline Clarke and her uncle, Dale Hurley. She was also very fond of her
three dogs, Rusty, Jeremy and Bear who all passed away over the past few years.

She resided in St. Louis, Scott AFB, Ill., Anchorage, Alaska, Ellsworth, Maine, and Warsaw, before moving to
Sherwood, Ark., to be with her father in his last years. She recently returned to the Warsaw area after several
years in Sherwood, and was very happy to be back home near family and friends whom she loved very
much. She was very active in her church while in Sherwood and she enjoyed cross-stitch, solving crossword
puzzles and her pets.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lamporte Funeral Home in Warsaw, with the Rev. Ed
Brownlee officiating.
