EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

In our research on Study on Strategies adopted by Mobile Service Provider and

Users response towards Mobile Number Portability, we have studied the
strategies of Mobile Service Provider and consumer behaviour towards switching
from current service provider to the new one. We had to undergo certain limitation
pertaining to the time constraints and geographical constraints.
The selection of research design is purely dependent on research problem and we
have selected descriptive design for our project as it gives detail insight towards the
problem. We took the current event of Mobil Number Portability and convenient
sample size of 100 collegians from the SSR campus.
Questionnaire was prepared in a systematic order, rightly filled by the respondents
and duly analyzed and studied. Analysis of data is done by using various statistical
data analysis tools. We have used Pie chart and Histogram as our statistical tool to
analyse the data.
