2009 SAM AWARDS

WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Calgary Region, is proud to present the winners and
finalists for each category of the 2009 SAM Awards.

The winners’ names were announced the evening of Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the 23nd Annual
SAM Awards Gala. The black-tie affair is a premier event within Calgary’s home building industry
calendar.

Hosted by comedian, Sugar Sammy, over 1,200 guests, representing every sector of the industry,
were on hand to salute 2009 SAM Award finalists and ultimately the award recipients.

CHBA - Calgary Region President, Don Dessario noted, “Despite the many challenges 2009
presented to our economy, the number and quality of entries was impressive. The finalists in each
category are prime examples of the dedicated and progressive nature of our members. They drive
the industry forward by continually raising the bar. To win a SAM Award is a strong indication of a
company’s standing within a healthy and highly competitive field.”
