Living Thing

Environment around us consist of living thing (Biotic) and not


living thing (A biotic).
A) Living thing
Living thing consist of human, animal, and plant. Living thing
have some characteristic, those are following characteristic:
1. Breathing
Examples of breathing system are:
a. Lungs (In the human and animal)
b. Trachea (in the insect)
c. Stomata (In the plant)
d. Gills (in the fish)
2. Move
Making a move of it something object from one place to
another is called move.
3. Sensitive to excitement (Irritabilities)
A movement which is conducted by living thing not
intentionally effect of existence of certain excitement. Examples
of irritabilities are:
a. Worm will fold its body if touched by foreign object.
b. Princess crop a shame of its leaf valve if touched.
4. Need the food
Because by eating food we can to have an energy which used
to living things like for the activity and grow.
5. Can be Excretions
Expenditure of matter is rest of from result the chemical
process in human body differentiated to become 3 that is
defecation, excretion, and secretion.

- Defecation is expenditure process of rest of digestion pass to


anus.
- Excretion is expenditure process of rest of result of chemical
process which do not be required by corpuscle and released
with urine (Kidney), sweat (Skin), and respiration (Lungs).
- Secretion is process expenditure of matter by gland or cell
which in the form of rubber which still exploited for other
process like Enzyme and Hormone.
6. Grow
All living thing are not possible to have body form which
remain to. All living thing sure to grow, like example:
a. In the year 1995 tree wish have the high equal to 8 meter.
While in the year 1996 the high of the tree increase to become
9.5 meter.
b. The weight of Antons weight is 40 kg in the 2000 of the year.
While the weight of Antons weight is 51 kg in the 2001 of the
year.
7. Reproduction
Propagation represents ability of living thing to multiply and
preserve its type. In propagation will happen if organism has
ability of Viabilities and Fertilities.
- Viabilities are ability of organism to have the nature of
beneficial in passing off its life.
- Fertilities are ability of organism to yield clan.
B) Not the Living Thing
A not living thing is not have a characteristic which have
with living thing. Examples of the not living thing are land,
stone, sand, clouds, and water.

Classification
The definition of classification
Living thing variety divided into some group level is
called Classification. This Classification is used to facilitate
in identifying an animal type.
