Smirnoff MPI Terms and Conditions
1. The prize draw is open to all residents in Great Britain aged 18 and over (except employees and
families of the Promoter and its affiliate companies, agencies and anyone professionally connected with
the promotion).
2. No purchase necessary. To enter, go to the Smirnoff Great Britain ‘Win To Be There’ application on
www.facebook.com/SmirnoffGB complete your personal details on the entry form and click “Submit”.

The competition opens on Monday February 1 2010. All entries must be submitted by 11:59pm on 21
March 2010.

3. The winner will be drawn at random 24 March 2010 from all valid entries and notified by phone or

email by 31 March 2010.
4. The first prize is a trip for the winner and three of his/her friends to Berlin from 21-25 April 2010.
The prize comprises:
(i) 4 return economy flights from a London airport to a Berlin airport;
(ii) 4 nights in a 4* Hotel incl Breakfast (double occupancy)
(iii) 4 tickets to the Smirnoff event in Berlin on 23rd April 2010, headliner Simian Mobile Disco
(iv) Transfers from the airport to the hotel
Transfers to and from the appropriate London airport, airport transfers in Berlin, insurance (such as travel
or health cover), spending money, breakfast, drinks and snacks from the hotel mini bar and any other
hotel incidentals are NOT included. Full details of the prize will be supplied to the winner following
notification. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
5. The winner must claim his/her prize by 09th April 2010. In the event the winner does not claim the prize
by this date, the winner shall forfeit his/her prize and the Promoter may offer the prize to another entrant
drawn electronically at random. 6. The 3 friends chosen by the winner to participate in the prize must be
aged 18 or over at the time the winner claims the prize.
10. The winner and the winner’s friends chosen to participate in the prize must be available to travel to
and stay in Berlin from 21-25.April 2010 or on the dates of the specified GB events. These dates are not
flexible.
11. The winner and the winner’s companions are each responsible for ensuring they each have a valid
passport and for ensuring they have travel insurance.
12. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss and/or personal
injury suffered by or to the winner and/or any of his/her friends that occurs as a result of the winner’s
and/or his/her friends’ participation in the prize. The winner shall be responsible for any damage to the
hotel or other venues (including their contents) visited by the winner and his/her friends throughout the
trip caused as a result of a deliberate or negligent act or omission of the winner or one or more of his/her
companions.
13. The winner’s name can be obtained by sending a stamped SAE to Splendid Communications. 31

into concerning the result and the Promoter’s decision is final.
14. The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity. The Promoter may photograph, video
and/or film the Smirnoff event or any other activity in connection with the prize. Winners acknowledge
that the Promoter has the right to use such publicity photos, videos and/or films in any medium and in any
reasonable manner it sees fit without further permission from or payment to winners.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion if, in its
absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so, save that the Promoter shall not exercise this right
unreasonably.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on
misconduct.
17. The Promoter and their agents accept no responsibility for difficulties experienced in submitting an
entry to this promotion.
18. This promotion and these terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the English Courts.
19. An entrant’s personal data will only be held for the purpose of selecting the winner and will not be

(iv) Scheduled itinerary of trips and excusions
(v) Transfers from the airport to the hotel
(vi) Return transfers from GB home address to GB airport
Insurance (such as travel or health cover), spending money, drinks, snacks from the hotel mini bar and
any other hotel incidentals are NOT included. Full details of the prize will be supplied to the winner
following notification. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

5. The winner must claim his/her prize by 17 April 2010. In the event the winner does not claim the prize
by this date, the winner shall forfeit his/her prize and the Promoter may offer the prize to another entrant
drawn electronically at random.
6. The 3 friends chosen by the winner to participate in the prize must be aged 18 or over at the time the
winner claims the prize.
7. The winner and the winner’s friends chosen to participate in the prize must be available to travel to and
stay in South Africa from 13-17 May 2010 or on the dates of the specified GB events. These dates are not
flexible.
8. The winner and the winner’s companions are each responsible for ensuring they each have a valid
passport and for ensuring they have travel insurance. Entrants should ensure they are eligible for the visa
waiver programme or are in possession of a valid visa, as appropriate, and for ensuring they have any
vaccinations required

and notified by phone or email at least 72 hours prior to the event.
8. The ticket only winners must claim his/her prize 48 hours before the event. In the event the winner
does not claim the prize by this date, the winner shall forfeit his/her prize and the Promoter may offer the
prize to another entrant drawn electronically at random.
9. The friends chosen by the winner to participate in the prize must be aged 18 or over at the time the
winner claims the prize. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

and stay at the specified city on the dates of the specified GB events. These dates are not flexible.

Free Download: Each Person entering the competition is eligible to download one free Music Track.
Limited to one entry per person. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
2. The tracks are available for download for the duration of the promotion. Start date – January 29th
2010. The promotion closes June 30th 2010.

3. Entrants will get a chance to be an extra in a Smirnoff advertising campaign which will launch in May
spanning print, online and broadcast media.

shoot, editing may occur in the final edit of the commercial which does not include the winner and
